It often comes with the territory of high expectations and the pressure to meet an ideal vision of what the holidays should be. In this lesson, we will define your holiday expectations and focus on creating a framework that defines what calm and centered looks and feels like for you. This lesson involves a writing exercise, so be prepared to put your pen to paper as you build space for joy without stress, anxiety, chaos, and the normal push and pull of this season.

Defining Your Center
Understanding what it means to be "centered" is crucial during this season.
Being centered means feeling balanced within yourself—mind, emotions, body, and spirit. Being grounded is about being present in the moment with clarity and harmony, despite any chaos.
In this lesson, learn what it means to be out of balance. You will activately create YOUR definition of balance and center through a personal experience of your choosing, and we'll continue to build your framework to thrive in the holidays through a simple, yet powerful writing exercise that takes no more than ten minutes.
Signs you're out of center:
Taking on too many tasks and multitasking away your joy.
Feeling fatigued early in the day.
Negative self-talk and worrying about the future.
Easily distracted, unable to focus, or feeling overwhelmed.
Inability to control eating, social media use, alcohol, or shopping.
Trouble sleeping or remembering tasks.
It’s about finding that inner peace and calm, even during the chaos of the holidays. Recognize when you're out of balance and take steps to bring yourself back to center. This lesson is the guide to understanding how.

Knowing Your Why
We all have expectations, especially when it comes to the holidays. We want everything to be perfect, peaceful, and memorable. However, when our expectations are unmet or impossibly high, we take ourselves out of balance and into the negative.
In this lesson, we examine your expectations, we’ll work to get to the root of why what you need and want are important to you, and we pick up our pens and continue our framework of understanding what you want and need during this holiday season.

Limitations, Permission, & A Self-Care Plan
We can become off-balance when we have limitations, refuse to give ourselves permission, and release our self-care practices during the holidays.
In this lesson, we examine limitations, why you must give yourself permission, and how to do so, and we create a self-care plan that doesn’t add more for you to do but instead shifts your priorities. Our framework and toolbox are growing with all the tools you need to build a calm, peaceful, balanced season.

Creating Connections
If you overschedule yourself, constantly on the go, you can find yourself in too deep. If you are someone who also fears missing out, you say yes to things that come at the cost of your mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing, it's time to build boundaries and self-care around your time.
In this lesson, we build your schedule and examine how to value your "no," we find your spirit keeper to create support as a part of connection, and we focus on gratitude and how to create connection with yourself and others throughout the holiday season through your entire framework.

Reimagine The Holidays
You've built your framework and gathered your tools, now what do you want from the holidays? In this lesson, we wrap everything up and find a few more ways to actively move what we intend into action. The holidays are a beautiful, sacred time. This is the moment to reimagine what you want and bring it to life.

Amidst the holiday rush, we must seek balance. In this meditation journey, you'll return to your inner sanctuary of peace and calm. Through mindful breathing, we'll release stress and embrace tranquility as we welcome affirmations that affirm our expectations and desires.
