An Introduction To Ego And The Enneagram
Lesson 1 covers an overview of the Enneagram: its origins, philosophy, and basic premises. This will give you a sense of the system, whether or not you resonate with it, and if you feel that it is something that you can relate to or that will be useful for you in your life. You will also be introduced to a general view of the needs of the 9 personality types. This will give you a feel for which one(s) may apply most to you and will start you on your journey toward greater self-insight. If you are not already familiar with the Enneagram it will be very useful for you to search on google images for an "Enneagram diagram" to refer to whilst listening.

How Fear, Anger And Shame Shape The Ego
Lesson 2 is a discussion on how and why we develop a personality strategy or EGO and a little about how fear, anger and shame can shape how our ego is formed. We will explore the three centres of intelligence (thinking, feeling and doing) and you will have an opportunity to reflect on how these reactivities feature and impact in your own life.
Lição 3
The Development Of Ego Strategies From Childhood
In Lesson 3 we look at how each personality type presents in childhood. Firstly we will look at how this creates a lens through which the child perceives the world. After that we will look at how this is impacted by disappointments and challenges as the child grows up. We will explore how each personality type deals with and reacts to difficulty differently - and how this informs their ego strategy as they grow up.

Ego Formation, Reactivities And Focus Of Attention
Because the world is not a perfect place, We have all had the experience of disappointment in childhood.
In lesson 4 we delve a little deeper into the impact of disappointment on our personality development when we were younger. We explore how each personality type reacts differently to disappointment and how fear, anger and/or shame may manifest from these reactions and play out in our lives.

Navigating The Adult Ego
In lesson 5, we discuss how each of the personality patterns play out in day to day adult life. We look at the overall spectrum of healthy and unhealthy manifestations of each personality pattern and the pathways of integration and disintegration for each type.
