O que você irá aprender
Let’s be honest. Every parent loses their temper with their kids. Meltdowns in the form of snapping, shouting, and losing our temper happens when stress overwhelms our body. According to the tried-and-true wisdom of ayurveda - aka the science of the wisdom of life - we all experience three types of stress: mental, emotional, and physical. Based on the stress we are experiencing, our emotions and meltdown experience will be different. The good news is, once you know what kind of stress you are experiencing, it's quite easy to regain balance with the correct breathwork technique. Mindfully Handling Meltdowns For Parents & Kids is a 10-day course that focuses on giving you a practical roadmap to becoming a calmer, more patient parent. It’s an insight-packed and tip-filled course on how to stop parental meltdowns and how to mindfully support your kids through their meltdowns too. Over the 10 days, this course will give you a step-by-step roadmap on how to use powerful, tried, and true ancient yogic and ayurvedic wisdom that is proven by modern-day science to reset your adaptability energy, recharge your resilience reserve, and tap into your "nerves of steel" superpower, so you can handle uncontrollable life situations and unpleasant emotions that shows up in life without snapping, shouting, or melting down. You will learn quickest way to regain mental and emotional balance, not through generic “just take deep breaths” advice you’ve already heard, but through strategic yogic breath work practices that can be easily done by you and your kids. The compassionate approach and tangible tips in this course will make you feel more empowered to stop losing your patience now. I’ll be sharing ancient tools that have been modernized and broken down into easy-to-digest nugget to fit your busy lifestyle. You’ll learn: 1. How to know the difference between your kids' tantrums and meltdowns and the different strategies to support them. 2. The 3 different ayurvedic stress types all humans experience and the appropriate breathwork techniques to reset your nervous system when you are anxious, angry, sad, or disappointed. 3. There will be many mindset shifts, guided relaxation practices, and breathwork practices that you’ll want to refer back to (so have a journal as you take this journey with me). I look forward to sharing the insights I’ve learned about stress and emotional resilience through my experience of being a teacher and student of ayurveda and Kundalini yoga and meditation, as well as calling upon my decade-long experience of teaching children meditation, mindful breathing, and emotional awareness, too. By the end of the course you’ll learn how to stay calm during difficult or a pressure-filled situation. It’s going to help you develop the ability to tolerate change and uncertainty without getting overwhelmed. You will learn how to develop a focused attention span, control mood impulses, have self-control, and create the opportunity to cultivate empathetic and respectful relationships with your children when they have big feelings too.

Really insightful. I like how the focus is on you as a parent and your behaviour. This self improvement not only helps dealing with own “meltdowns” but serves as an example for kids. Enjoyed the course and can take plenty away. Thank you 😊

This is one of the best courses I have taken. The benefit for adults with or without children is tremendous since as was mentioned if you don’t learn as a child.
