Lição 1
Holding Space for Your Body Image
This session is an opportunity for you to explore the relationship you have with yourself and your body. You will get present to the thoughts, feelings, and beliefs you have about your body. It is only by getting present to your automatic ways of thinking and feeling about yourself that you can interrupt this already/always listening you have of your body.
Lição 2
Reframing Narratives
In this session, you will reflect on the pivotal early moments where you developed some sort of conversation about not feeling good enough. You will look at the facts of what happened and inquire into the narrative you created around it. By distinguishing the facts versus the narrative (an occurring truth, not THE Truth) around each incident, you can be free of the hold these narratives have on you. You will then consciously create a new, more empowering narrative about yourself and your body.
Lição 3
It's Not About Your Body
In this session, you will do an exercise to uncover the REAL fear driving any negative self-talk or negative body image. If your body were to change tomorrow, would you really feel any different about yourself and your life? Or is the negative body talk just a way of distracting your mind from your deeper fears? When you look your fear right in the face, that’s your access to power.
Lição 4
Being In Relationship
In this session, you will inquire into the feelings and emotions you’ve been bringing to the relationship with each of your body parts. Usually, pain comes from a place of expectation. What expectations do you have of your body and are these expectations fair? From which societal narratives are these expectations coming from? By adopting a paradigm of appreciation, you will start to consciously choose the feelings and emotions you will bring to your relationship with your body.
Lição 5
Being Complete
In this session, you will get deeply related to the “made-upness” of all beauty stories. There is only “Is-ness.” Inside of embracing the “Is-ness” of your being, you will become present to the idea that your beauty story is yours to author. You will do exercises to consciously create the “being-ness” you’ve always wanted to adopt for yourself and for your relationship with others.
