Nourishment in nature is known to be the breath of life, the storehouse of vitality. And joy is felt through the radiating activity from the sun's warm rays. It is these yang rivers of energy that are required to wake up the dormant seeds in the soil, breathing life into them and fueling them to reach for the sky, blossoming with their fruits. Likewise, these two yang rivers flow through the human spiritual center awakening awareness, internal bravery, and discipline thereby activating our birthright to Know Thyself, Be Thyself, and Love Thyself. As we journey through this course you will become familiar with expressions of yang both within and around you. You will be guided through physical exercises to balance any yang imbalance. Finally, you will be taken through a process connecting to the Spiritual Warrior with a practice called 'fourfold aligning'.
Helen Hansen is a kinesiologist specialising in meridian therapy of Traditional Chinese Medicine. TCM and meridian work uses the wisdom of yin-yang language to evaluate and treat physical, mental and emotional concerns.

Yang, The Primal Masculine Principle Of The Universe
Yang is associated with the sun and is known to govern the heavens. It is the energy that moves mountains. Actualizing intention, heat, contraction, and dragon energy, are a few symbols aligning with yang. In this lesson, we discuss what a healthy yang expression looks and feels like. We also notice symptoms that create an imbalance of yang in body and mind. And we touch on some natural remedies for keeping your yang rivers flowing smoothly.

Working With Yang Energy In The Physical Body
In this lesson, we work through a variety of physical exercises to activate a sleepy yang disposition and thereby bring balance to the yin-yang system as a whole. Get ready to move and groove! Barefoot is best.

Awakening The Spiritual Warrior Within
In today's lesson we will be engaging with the “yang-spirit” within. When our spiritual fire is activated we are able to engage with our Spiritual Warrior. The Spiritual Warrior is the part of the self who takes on the challenge of confronting and dealing with fears, false beliefs, and judgments which are the creators of suffering and unhappiness. Knowing how to work with one's yang-spirit is powerfully settling, moving and opens ones personal power in a beautifully balanced manner.

Three sessions, to the point and at the same time broad ranging. The lessons express a confidence that the listener will benefit from that brief intro to TCM and pursue it further if they wish. That confidence shows clearly in the introduction of a concept and/or technique followed by a period of silence. I appreciate that assumption of competence...

I really enjoyed learning about yang. I did nit realise how much of an impact being out of balance could have. I was surprised to learn the organs and times of eating and drinking were so important in balance. Thank You. I look forward to your ying and yang course.
