As we approach the change of seasons, it is time to ground ourselves to the changes that are happening. Already the leaves have started to change and fall, the weather is cooler and crisper and the dark of night is arriving earlier and earlier. We need to make sure we are ready for these changes to occur around us and to let them surround us. This music reminds me of the wind gently blowing through the trees.

This was a truly beautiful piece. I’m not normally a purely piano person but this is an exception. The delicate music reminded me of my time in Japan. I know it’s for autumn but this also made me think of the wind that blows the cherry blossom petals off the trees in a beautiful pink shower that carpets the ground. It’s tinged with sadness because their beauty is fleeting but at the same time, the wheel of the year turns and you know they’ll be back again next year. I felt hope listening to this and that’s something I haven’t felt for awhile. Thank you. ❤️
