If you take any theater or cinema play.
It is always around some conflict.
Mahabharata is trying to teach you because.
.
.
Conflict is reality.
And face is the goal.
Conflict is reality.
Which means that that is the normal state of what we can call the actual state of our life.
And peace and love is what we want.
So that's what Mahabharata tells us.
Is starting with your life and teaches you how to be peaceful.
That is the purpose of power.
So it shows you that because you have conflict,
No one can say here that they don't have conflict in their life,
Whether conflict in the house.
In the family or friends or at job.
In the city,
In the country,
Religion.
So there is everywhere conflict.
Wherever you go,
There is conflict.
But nobody wants it.
The heart of heart we want peace.
But we don't know how to have it.
So then Shastra teaches that.
And Indian plays also,
The theatre also teaches that.
And that is the point.
So you like it because that's your life.
You're naturally attracted to it.
Because that's what is happening in your life.
Whether at the emotional level there is a conflict,
Physical level there is a conflict,
Social level there is a conflict.
So you also like that.
They get used to it.
We also have a nature to get used to,
So then you get used to conflict.
If there is no conflict,
Then also you feel bored.
For the nuclear company.
So this is the nature of the mind.
The mind cannot be happy.
Unless it is in trouble.
If you supply all the needs of the mind then it will invent.
Remember me.
Has gotten so much used to the trouble that without trouble it feels that I don't exist.
So we feel we exist when there is something going on.
Some conflict is there.
If conflict is not there,
If everything is calm and quiet.
.
.
And it looks like there's no life here.
So then we'll do something to put ourselves into trouble and then we'll solve the trouble.
And we enjoy that.
So all the time everybody is trying to solve some problem.
Which is created by themselves.
Most of them are created by us.
We create problems ourselves.
Then we solve it.
Yesterday we talked about food in the class and here also we never talk about food.
So we eat wrong food.
So that causes trouble to us,
Then we try to solve it.
So then we go to the gym.
Right.
So first I overeat,
Then I go and do the gym.
Or I take some pill,
There are so many programs to lose weight.
So this is how the imbalanced mind works.
So Mahabharata or Bhagavad Gita is teaching how to have a balanced mind.
Balanced mind is not interested in that conflict.
But imbalanced mind.
That's life.
That's all it knows.
It doesn't know anything more.
It has not experienced what it means to be balanced.
So if there is peace or balance,
Then it does not feel very happy and satisfied.
Yet it also wants it.
So then in between it wants short gaps.
Of peace.
But cannot take.
So if I leave you alone in your room,
You will go crazy.
Otherwise,
If you have a balanced mind,
You have no problem.
You can just be with yourself.
What is the problem?
I can just sit and talk.
Meditate,
Read,
Do whatever.
But imbalanced mind cannot do that.
It becomes hell.
So we have to be engaged with something.
Watch something good.
Call somebody,
Go on Facebook.
So the main reason of this lichen is imbalanced mind,
Which is majority of people have,
Right?
Everybody,
Not majority.
Majority is an understatement.
There is nobody Buddha here.
There is no Sukhdev Goswami.
Than the books.
The balanced mind is in the book.
Imbalanced mind all around.
Wherever you look,
You are always imbalanced.
So you can just assume whenever you meet somebody,
You can just assume that he has an imbalance now.
You don't have to have a doubt or give the benefit of doubt.
Well,
There's no need.
