Art Mindfully explores great artworks from major Museums & Galleries around the globe, guiding mindful and contemplative deep-looking sessions. Recognising that art often communicates what words cannot, Art Mindfully explores through meditation, the nonverbal language that can exist between a work of art and the viewer. Art Mindfully sessions guide viewers to build focus, expand curiosity, and amplify their ability to tap into the awe and wonder that a deep and intimate connection with art can evoke. These deep looking sessions give one the space to tune in and sense the wisdom that "there are 7 billion+ individual responses" to each encounter. Art Mindfully live sessions have been presented at cultural centres including the Sydney Opera House; Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney, and the Brisbane Arts Festival, exploring artworks as diverse as Artemisia, van Gogh, Morisot and Vermeer, Australian Indigenous painting, Asian classical sculpture and contemporary artworks from around the world. Each deep-looking session allows one to step outside oneself and open to something beautiful, exceptional, and deeply inspiring.  Art Mindfully was created by Steve Pozel in 2016 as a platform for research and delivering innovative programs. While listening to the guided sessions here on Insight Timer, all the artworks featured can be viewed on a tablet or computer, in high definition, on featured Museum or Gallery websites. Keeping your eyes open is optional, but highly recommended.
