This meditation is a delicious journey inward, supporting our connection with our inner compass, our inner knowing, and self. It reminds us how easy it is to have clarity and live in alignment with our true self. [Concept Inspired by Julia Cameron's "The Artist's Way" | Music by Jim Zartman | Influence by Joey Taylor]

Welcome.

I invite you to close your eyes.

Let's take a few deep breaths to ground ourselves.

Right now,

I'm asking you to take a look back into your past,

Specifically your history with your inner compass.

I'm asking you to spend a little time with your story,

To remember it,

To consider it,

To run your hands over it and see what kind of power it has.

Do you remember the times you have heard that deep,

Peaceful,

Expansive inner voice?

The one that you know leads you to the highest good.

Not the fearful,

Screaming,

Busy one,

But the one that knows.

I call it my higher self,

My heart.

You may call it spirit,

Universe,

Or something else.

Now,

Bring to your mind and heart a time when that inner compass was guiding you and you didn't follow it.

For some reason or another,

You chose not to follow it.

In hindsight,

You could have known that that inner voice was leading you to your highest path,

But you chose not to follow it and the opportunity was gone.

Feel into that moment for a few breaths.

In that moment,

When you didn't follow your inner compass,

Where were you?

Who were you with?

What can you see in your mind's eye?

What do you smell?

What colors are present?

Now,

Forgive yourself.

Accept that that moment was exactly as it should have been for you to arrive here today.

Knowing that you made the best decision according to your consciousness at that time.

Forgive yourself.

Tell your inner child,

Your inner creative that it is in the past and you are grateful for it.

Forgive yourself.

Love on yourself and hold your heart with compassion.

Now,

I want you to travel forward in time.

Travel into today.

What year is it?

What is the time of day right now?

Are you sitting?

Are you standing?

Can you feel your feet on the ground?

What do you smell?

What do you notice in your body at this moment?

Now,

Remember that deep,

Peaceful,

Expansive voice.

Remember that voice,

The one that leads you to your highest good.

And now,

Allow this inner compass to communicate with you freely.

Welcome your heart,

Your higher self,

Universe spirit into this space.

And when you think about the week ahead,

Do they have a message for you?

Are they guiding you towards a certain direction?

Are they guiding you back to yourself?

Welcome what they have to say.

And with a few deep breaths,

Listen.

Listen.

Now,

Thank your inner compass.

Give them a hug.

Thank them for their wisdom and their forever loyalty.

Thank them for continuously showing up with love.

And when you feel ready,

Slowly open your eyes and come back into presence.
