Hi,
I'm Angie,
An intimacy and pleasure coach.
Welcome to this sensation body mapping meditation.
We're going to travel through your whole body using your own hands,
Not to evaluate anything,
Not to fix anything,
Just to notice what's actually there.
Find a comfortable position where you can reach most of your body easily.
When you're ready to begin,
We'll begin.
Take three slow breaths.
Not to relax.
Just to let yourself know you've arrived.
You're here.
You have time.
We're going to travel through your whole body today,
Using your own hands as the guide.
There's no right way to do this.
You're not looking for anything in particular.
You're just noticing whatever is actually there.
Start with your hands.
Bring them together and rest one on top of the other.
Just notice your hands first before you do anything with them.
Are they warm or cool?
Do they feel heavy or light?
What's the texture of your skin right now?
Is it dry?
Soft?
Rough?
Now use your right hand to explore your left.
Start with your fingertips.
Trace slowly across the pads of each finger.
Notice the temperature of your own touch.
Notice the pressure.
How much or how little feels natural?
Move to your palm.
Press gently.
Them lighter.
Notice what that change in pressure feels like.
Turn your left hand over and trace the back of it slowly.
Across your knuckles toward your wrist.
Now move up your left forearm.
Use long,
Slow strokes or small circles.
Whatever feels right.
Notice the texture of your skin here,
The warmth,
Whether this area feels familiar or unfamiliar.
Move up to your upper arm and shoulder.
Use your whole hand if you want.
Squeeze gently.
Notice if there's any tension you didn't know was there.
Spend a moment on this shoulder.
A little more pressure if it wants it.
Now switch.
Use your left hand to explore your right arm,
Starting at the fingertips,
Moving up to the forearm.
The upper arm.
The shoulder.
Take your time here.
Notice if one side feels different from the other.
Bring both hands up to your face.
Rest them there for just a moment.
And notice the warmth of your palms against your skin.
Begin at your forehead.
Use your fingertips to move slowly across it from the centre outward.
Notice if you've been holding your brow without realizing.
Now move to your temples.
Small,
Slow circles on each one.
We often hold tension here without realizing it.
Trace down along your jaw.
Notice if it's clenched or soft.
You do not need to fix it.
But just notice.
Move your hands up into your scalp.
Use your fingertips.
Now a little more pressure here.
Notice the temperature of your scalp.
The texture of your hair between your fingers.
Bring both hands to the back of your neck.
And let them rest here.
This is a place that carries a lot.
The weight of the head,
Of attention.
Holding it all together.
Gently squeeze or press.
Stay here as long as you want.
Bring both hands down to your chest.
Stack them flat,
One on top of the other,
Over your sternum.
Feel the rise and fall of your own breath under your hands.
Notice the temperature of your chest.
Is it warm,
Cool,
Neutral?
Are you touching skin or clothing?
Move your hands slowly across your chest,
Your collarbone.
The space between your shoulders.
Wherever your hands want to go.
You're not evaluating anything.
Or just here.
If it feels okay,
Include your breasts.
They're part of your body.
They carry sensation.
They deserve to be acknowledged without agenda.
Now reach your right arm across to your left shoulder and upper back as far as you can comfortably reach.
Now switch.
Left arm across your right side.
Even just the space between your shoulder blades.
Notice what lives there.
Warmth.
Tightness.
Something else.
Bring both hands to your belly.
Rest them flat,
One stacked on the other.
This is a place many of us have a complicated relationship with.
You don't need to feel any particular way about it today.
Just notice.
What's the temperature?
Does it feel held or soft?
Somewhere in between.
Move your hands slowly across your ribs,
Down towards your waist.
Across your belly.
Use light pressure or heavier if that feels better.
Now slide one hand around to your lower back if you can reach,
And keep the other on your belly.
One hand on front,
One hand on your back.
This is a place so much tension gathers.
From standing,
Sitting,
Carrying things,
Carrying people.
A little pressure from whichever hand can reach.
Just acknowledging that this is part of you.
That exists and does a lot.
Bring both hands to your hips.
The outer edges.
The hip bones.
The sides of your pelvis.
Notice the temperature here.
A texture.
What it feels like to simply place your hands on this part of your body without judgment,
Without agenda.
If it feels okay.
Move slowly to your lower belly and pubic area.
If not,
Continue to rest on your hip bones.
This is part of your body too.
You don't need to do anything with it.
Just include it.
Just notice if you want.
Bring both hands around to your glutes if you can reach.
Notice what's there.
Tension,
Warmth,
Numbness.
Squishiness.
Hardness.
Something else.
Bring both hands to your thighs,
One hand on each leg.
Use long,
Slow strokes from hip toward knee,
Both sides moving together.
Notice the temperature.
The texture.
How much sensation is here compared to other places?
Move to your knees,
An often ignored place.
Both hands,
One on each knee.
Bend your legs if necessary.
The fronts,
The backs,
The sides,
Just noticing.
Continue down your shins and calves.
Both hands moving together.
All the way to your ankles if you can reach.
And finally.
.
.
Your feet.
Both hands,
One on each foot.
Even just for a moment.
Tops of your feet.
Your heels.
Bottoms of your feet.
Your toes.
These carry you everywhere.
They deserve a moment.
Take a big breath.
And now let your hands rest wherever they land.
Your lap,
Your belly,
On your sides.
Whatever feels natural.
You just traveled your whole body.
Not to fix anything.
Not to judge anything.
Just to be there.
Take a moment before you open your eyes.
Notice what you're aware of now that you weren't when you started.
Notice what surprised you.
Notice what stirred you.
Notice what you skipped or moved through quickly.
When you're ready,
Slowly,
In no rush.
Open your eyes.
