With this guided meditation you will set up your intention for the day. I recommend doing it in the morning and keep a pen and paper close by so you can write your intention for the day. Don't forget to review your intention before going to bed in the evening.

Good morning and welcome to this guided meditation.

I'm Angelle,

Your meditation teacher,

And today we are going to set up intention for the day.

Start by closing your eyes and turning your attention to the sole of your feet touching the ground.

Continue your position sitting on this chair and your hands resting on your legs or next to you.

Slowly turn your attention to your breath and the movement of your breath in your body as you inhale and exhale.

Feeling the journey of the air coming in through the nose,

Travelling down the throats and the lungs,

Flating your belly like a balloon.

Then as you contract your belly,

The air is pushed up and out.

You're not trying to change the rhythm of how you breathe,

You're just observing what is naturally happening in and out.

Think about what your intention is for the day.

Are you having a lot of work to achieve today?

Or maybe you're focusing on achieving peace of mind and happiness?

What is your intention for the day?

Don't think about a goal,

Think about how do you want to feel by the end of the day?

What would you like to feel when you go to bed thinking,

My day was filled with joy and happiness,

Positivity?

Thinking how you want to feel tonight will help you decide what is the best intention to set for today.

Once you have a clear idea of what your intention is,

Try to formulate it in a short sentence,

Almost like a mantra that you could repeat yourself a few times before starting your day officially.

And as you repeat,

Best sentence to yourself,

Try to feel exactly as you will once you achieved your intention for the day.

And during your day,

Don't forget to remind yourself of your intention.

Maybe you can write it on a sticky note and put it next to your workplace,

Or on your mirror in a place where you will see it during your day.

Or maybe you will decide to journal about it.

Whatever it is,

Just pick what is right for you.

Once you're satisfied with your intention and sure that you know it will be achieved today,

Come back to your breath and to your body sitting here,

Ingrounded.

Come back to the feeling of your feet on the floor and your hands resting on your legs or next to you.

Come back to the noises you can hear inside the room and outside the room.

Grab a pen and write your intention for the day with a smile on your face and the confidence that you know you will achieve it.

Thank you! I felt like a fog had cleared and that all of the hundreds of β€˜things’ I had to do today disappeared, as I focused on the one main thing on my mind! Namaste πŸ™
