Longing Meditation and Emotional Healing
When we meditate, we may be longing for different aspects of life, such as love, happiness, peace, or spiritual growth. Longing can also arise from a sense of incompleteness or a desire for a deeper connection with ourselves or others. Instead of suppressing or rejecting these feelings of longing, if we can approach them with mindfulness and non-judgmental awareness during meditation, we can observe them with curiosity and compassion. Such proceedings can help with emotional healing.
