A guided visualization and coherent 4-6 breath work session to help you connect with the intelligence of your heart and relax your nervous system, activating the parasympathetic rest-and-digest state. You will be guided into heart-focused breathing and presence, gratitude, reconnection with your inner child, and loving-kindness. If you're doing this for the first time, remember it may take some time to connect with your heart. But come back to this practice daily and with time you'll start to feel more in touch with your heart. I have done this breathing exercise twice a day for half a year and it has profoundly shifted my relationship with myself, my heart, others and life. I wish the same for you. Welcome dear one to this guided heart breath meditation.

My name is Amalia and I'm so excited that you are here taking this moment for yourself to breathe and slow down and listen to your heart.

We are going to take deliciously slow breaths around four seconds on the inhale,

And six seconds on the exhale.

Breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth.

And as you breathe in this way,

You are calming down your nervous system,

Telling your body that it's okay to relax.

And while placing your awareness inside of your heart,

You might find that different answers,

Different insights,

And intuitions are coming to you from this place.

So all you need to do is relax and follow my instructions.

I'm going to count in the beginning and after a while I'll stop counting and you can continue at your own pace.

So we breathe in two,

Three,

Four.

Out two,

Three,

Four,

Five,

Six.

In two,

Three,

Four.

Out two,

Three,

Four,

Five,

Six.

In two,

Three,

Four.

Out two,

Three,

Four,

Five,

Six.

And now continue at your own pace.

Using a little more force on the inhale and relaxing out on the exhale.

So placing your awareness inside of your heart,

Just noticing whatever is there right now in this moment.

Whatever feelings are there,

Just allow it to be without fixing,

Without trying to change any of your experience.

Knowing that your mere attention heals.

Send a little thank you to yourself for showing up and being here with your heart in this moment.

And now in your mind's eye,

See in front of you a person who you truly love.

It can be someone who is present in your life right now,

Someone who is not with us anymore,

Or even a pet,

Or if it feels easier to you,

A place.

See this person smiling.

See them laughing.

Imagine them telling you about something that's challenging for them.

Imagine that you are giving them a hug,

Telling them how much they mean to you and how capable they are of facing whatever is ahead of them.

Imagine you are whispering into their ear little blessings.

I wish that you get to be happy,

That you will feel love,

Joy,

Gratitude,

And inner peace.

And now slowly let go of the image of this person and just be with the sensation inside of your heart.

Notice what's there.

Now placing a hand on your own heart,

Imagine you are holding yourself,

Holding your heart.

And as you do so,

You are holding all versions of yourself.

The child that never left you that is always going to hold the key to your true essence because that child has always known what you love and what you are all about.

Thank the child in you for guiding you,

For being curious about the world.

And if it was long ago since you were with your inner child,

You can send them some gratitude,

Some reassurance that you are here,

That you are always holding them in your heart.

And send a thank you to all other versions of you,

The teenager,

Your current age,

And your future self for walking you through life,

For making it through all the challenges,

For growing wiser,

And for doing your best always to live with love.

And no matter what you've been through,

No matter what mistakes you've made in your life,

You know deep down that you have learned,

That perhaps you needed those mistakes to learn something very important.

See all the ways that you are strong,

That you are capable.

And thank yourself for taking this moment to be with yourself,

To listen to your heart.

And now ask your heart if there's any guidance that you need to know right now.

Placing your awareness in your heart and noticing whatever comes up,

If it's words,

Images,

Or just a sensation.

The heart knows forgiveness.

The heart knows love,

And gratitude,

And joy.

And whatever you feel lost,

This is the place you can come back to for guidance.

Now in your mind's eye,

I want you to imagine Mother Earth,

Our planet,

The tiny blue dot where both you and I,

And everything we know of in our lives,

Exist.

And I want you to send gratitude to our planet,

To nature,

For keeping us alive,

For letting us be here in this lifetime,

So that we can feel,

So that we can love.

Thank the planet for all its beauty,

For all the richness that flows to you,

That lands on your plate,

In your clothing,

That keeps you and your friends alive,

That nourishes your family.

And tell Earth,

I wish that you will heal.

I wish that you get to be a place full of harmony,

Of balance.

I wish you love,

And I wish you peace.

And if it feels right to you,

Make a little promise to your own heart and to Earth,

That you will follow your heart's guidance.

Because in some mysterious way,

The guidance of your heart seems to be closely entwined with the well-being of our planet.

Now slowly,

You can let your breathing return to its natural pace.

Starting to stretch your body,

Coming back into the room,

Thanking your heart for this moment.

And if you want,

You can make a little wish,

Knowing that whatever you send out,

Always comes back to you in one way or another.
