A poem inspired by the tarot card, The Major Arcana 10. The Wheel of Fortune. Is fate what defines us, or do we define fate? Posing a question, whatever my fate, shall I accept it? Do I welcome it with open arms? Or do I take fate by the hands and...The journey of fate is truly a discomfort and comfort to some. A benevolent force is on our side to take the wheel of fortune and turn it in our favour. The card brings a bit of a gamble in my perspective, and I want to know what it shares with you. When you have read the tarot and seen this card, please share your views. I would love to hear them. Otherwise, for those who haven’t, please take the meaning loosely and discover what the poem could provoke in you.

Fate is guiding and taking and forcing us to take a new direction.

The path which we thought we were treading in life takes unexpected twists and turns.

There is no going back.

Fate is often referred to as the predetermined course of events.

Certain events are meant to happen regardless of human actions.

Acting as if it is out of our control.

An unexpected and expected embrace.

With our full raging heart,

Shall we?

They never would have thought our lucky break.

Is it fate or luck?

All seeing and all knowing.

The universal force that is present,

Laws kept and made,

However,

Still can be broken with a slight hand.

A gamble.

Fate is in our hands.

The ebbs and flow of life.

It is not as complicated as we make it out to be.

So simple yet so risky.

Allowing yourself to make mistakes and fall from there.

We have this permission to take chances.

What do we have to lose?

Look at the bright side.

Odds are in our favour now.

Is it our own doing?

As we spiral up through the lessons and karmic cycles,

Everything spinning in a continuous cycle,

We begin to realise the towering,

Scary,

Aloot fate doesn't have to be scary at all.

Where we could move from despair and poverty to joy and abundance.

Where we feel different timelines and possibilities.

They say happiness has no meaning without misfortunes.

As one may call it misfortunes,

Some would like to call it the ups and downs of life.

The turning of the wheel of time.

Unexpected setbacks weave into chances,

New actions and new beginnings.

And let us call it a lucky break.

Yes,

Life is unpredictable.

Isn't that the nature of life?

Grasp its uncertainty and within all of that is wisdom.

Could we love the creative chaos within,

Where potential exists?

Crave this unknown roulette wheel.

Fate has a way of coming back to us.

It doesn't mean we can't make a new deal that could change everything.

Elements around symbolise the spiritual teachings and ground us into the most serendipitous experiences as a whole.

Different choices every day create new experiences.

Cause and effect moments happen all the time.

Dynamic choices in thoughts impacts reality.

Our emotions amplify the intensity.

Small ripples of words with emotions send out vibrations and alter the frequencies that surrounds us.

The unique perspectives are instruments shaping for the extraordinary.

A beautiful turning point is waiting to unfold.

Must it be revealed?

Never say never.

Now,

Spin the wheel of luck and time.

It is our turn to have this lucky break.

Take the dice and roll with it.

I invite more serendipity moments in my life.

I am ready for this lucky break.

Ready for magic to enter.

Fate is in my hands.

Believing the currents of this frequency is mine.

To value and hold these precious moments as time fades so fast.

A mindset is changing.

My life is changing.

I am changing.

Visions altering.

Fate is to take a new direction.
