Welcome to this meditation for the sacral chakra.

This meditation is designed to help you connect with and balance this energy center of your body.

We will do this by using affirmations that align with the aspects of the sacral chakra.

And then we will chant the Bijja mantra,

Which is the sound of this energy center.

Begin by finding a comfortable position.

You can sit on the floor or in a chair.

And you could even lie down.

Whatever is most comfortable for you in this moment is perfect.

You can roll your shoulders.

Take a deep inhale from the very bottom of your belly.

And exhale.

Relax your jaw.

Relax any places in your body where you notice yourself holding tension.

Allow yourself to completely rest in this moment.

Take a few more deep inhales and exhales.

And now place your attention on your abdomen.

The sacral chakra resides a few inches below the navel.

Imagine a beautiful and bright orange glowing light in the center of your body.

Notice any sensations you feel here.

Take a few more deep inhales and exhales,

While you continue to concentrate on this orange glowing light.

And now picture yourself sitting on the shore of a beautiful lake.

See the water in your mind's eye.

Notice the gentle movement of the waves.

And notice how clear the water is.

And now see yourself standing up and walking into the lake,

Up to your waist.

And now visualize your sacral chakra.

Picture that orange glowing light being rinsed clean as you move in the water.

Allow any feelings or emotions that arise to be there.

And allow this lake to help you rinse away and let go of any emotions you no longer wish to hold on to.

Take a few more deep breaths.

Let this lake help you feel totally at peace and totally refreshed.

Now we will go through the affirmations and chant the Bija mantra.

I will speak each affirmation three times and chant the Bija mantra three times.

You can feel free to repeat these after me or simply rest and listen.

The Bija mantra for the sacral chakra is vam.

Take a deep and centering breath.

And now let's begin.

I allow creativity to flow freely within me.

I allow creativity to flow freely within me.

I allow creativity to flow freely within me.

And now we chant vam.

Vam vam vam My emotions are free flowing and balanced.

My emotions are free flowing and balanced.

My emotions are free flowing and balanced.

And now again we chant vam.

Vam vam vam I deserve and enjoy pleasure in all areas of my life.

I deserve and enjoy pleasure in all areas of my life.

I deserve and enjoy pleasure in all areas of my life.

And preparing to chant vam.

Vam vam vam It is easy for me to set healthy boundaries.

It is easy for me to set healthy boundaries.

Take a deep breath and prepare to chant again.

Vam vam vam I have a right to feel and express.

Breathing deep from the belly and chanting.

Vam vam vam I am confident about and happy with my body.

I am confident about and happy with my body.

And breathe deep from the sacral chakra and chant vam.

Vam vam vam vam I follow the flow of life.

I follow the flow of life.

I follow the flow of life.

And one last time,

We will chant vam.

Vam vam vam vam And now begin to bring some movement,

Gently and gradually back to your body.

Wiggle your fingers and your toes.

Bring your awareness back into the room.

Notice how you feel now after completing this meditation.

You may want to journal about anything that you experienced,

Or any emotions that came up.

And remember,

You can always use these affirmations or chant vam at any point throughout the day,

Anytime you feel like you need to get some flow back into the sacral chakra.

Take a deep breath.

And exhale.

Thank you so much for doing this meditation with me.

I hope you have a beautiful and harmonious day.

Namaste.

Thank you.

I was drawn to this meditation and it was just what I needed. Sitting by the lake while the sun rises is one of the places I go in my mind. Now I know why. It was calming to stand in the lake and feel the water flow as I chanted out into the universe. Thank you.
