Welcome to this meditation with healing affirmations for letting go of the past.
To begin this practice,
Find a comfortable position.
You can either sit or lie down.
Do whichever feels most natural to you in this moment.
Tune into your breath,
Noticing your inhale and your exhale.
Notice any sensations present in your body.
There may be places of tension.
Breathe into these spaces,
Giving them permission to release.
Relax your shoulders.
Relax your jaw.
Take any subtle movements you need to feel even more comfortable.
And give yourself permission to be here fully present in this space,
Fully aware of the present moment.
Take a few cleansing breaths,
Breathing in through the nose.
And exhale out through the mouth,
Letting go of even more tension,
Letting go of any unease or uncertainty.
Just fully expand your awareness into this present moment.
Take another cleansing breath in through the nose.
And exhale out through the mouth.
One more time,
Take a cleansing breath in through the nose.
And exhale out through the mouth.
Totally surrendering to this present moment.
And now clarify and set your intention.
What is it that you would like to let go of?
What is no longer serving you?
What can you heal from?
Be willing to make peace with your past.
Be willing to embrace your present moment.
And feel gratitude for your ability to create this positive change,
The ability to transform your life,
To heal and move on.
Now let's begin going through the healing affirmations.
For this process,
Please feel free to repeat the affirmations after me.
You can also simply listen and let yourself rest.
You'll get the benefits either way.

I am willing to let go of the past.
The past has no power over me.
I accept my power and my ability to create positive change in my life.

I release everything that has been attempting to weigh me down.

I forgive everyone in my past for all perceived wrongs and I release them with love.

I trust the process of life.
I am divinely guided and protected at all times.
I surround myself with love and healing energy.

This completes the set of healing affirmations.
Take all of the time you need to gradually bring your awareness back into the room.
And prepare to transition back into your day.
Wiggle your fingers and your toes.
Take any movements and stretches that you need to be in your day.
Take any movements and stretches that you need to wake your body back up.
There's no need to rush into the next thing.
Just give yourself some time and space to reflect on this practice.
Notice how you are feeling now as opposed to when we first started.
