Hey,
Welcome to this video.
My name's Alex.
It is so nice to have you here.
This exercise is very,
Very effective at alleviating anxiety.
So if you find that anxiety sometimes creeps in throughout the day and you just need a quick fix to help solve it just for the time being,
This can be a fantastic method that I found has worked for me,
But it works for a lot of people and has proven to work time and again.
So let's begin this exercise.
How it works is we're going to take a deep breath in through the nose,
And when you get to about 80,
90%,
You're going to take the rest in,
In like,
You know,
With a boost.
You're going to just go,
And then,
And then,
Okay,
We're going to do five of those.
And then on the fifth,
We'll exhale and hold for about 10 seconds.
We're going to do five rounds of those,
Okay?
And then we'll see how you feel after,
Okay?
So let's begin.
Find yourself seated upright in a comfortable position,
Ensure that your hands are in a comfortable position as well.
And let's,
Let's begin.
So deep breath in through the nose and exhale and hold now,
10 seconds,
All the way out and hold,
Out,
Keep holding 10 seconds and in,
And slowly breathe out for as long as you can,
Now,
Relaxing your muscles as you breathe out,
Noticing how much calmer you feel with just a few breaths in a few minutes and go back to your natural rhythm of breath.
Notice how you feel in this moment.
When you're ready,
You may gently open your eyes and enjoy the rest of your day.
Thanks for your time,
Much love.
