Meditation Timer OnlineAdri has been practicing yoga and meditation for 20 years and is eternally grateful to the Buddhist monk and peace activist Thich Nhat Hanh for inspiring her to engage in the world in a meaningful way, for the liberation of all beings. She is currently completing her Mindfulness Teacher Certification with Freedom Together, which she found through the guidance of her teacher, Vimalasara and the practice of MBAR. Adri is also a feminist scholar with a Ph.D. in Chicana/o Studies and author of Cicatrix Poetics, Trauma and Healing in the Literary Borderlands. She firmly believes that freedom is a practice and humbly walks the path of the middle way.
