Welcome.
This practice is called still becoming,
And it's for the moments where you find yourself in between.
Not quite where you used to be,
And not yet where you're trying to go.
Maybe everything around you feels unclear,
Uncertain,
Or like nothing is fully landing.
I created this practice because I've been in that space too.
And honestly,
I still visit it often.
As a meditation teacher,
People sometimes assume I have it all figured out.
That I'm always calm.
Always clear.
But I'm human.
I felt confusion,
Frustration,
Overwhelm,
Fear,
And anxiety.
All of those things that can come with not knowing what's next.
This is a space where we don't have to rush or force anything.
We slow down.
We listen.
We allow ourselves to just be.
In this practice,
You'll be invited to ground into your body Your breath.
And your senses,
So you can feel supported even when the path ahead feels blurry.
So however you're arriving to your practice today is welcome.
Showing up just as you are is more than enough.
Let's begin by arriving.
If it feels okay,
Gently close your eyes or soften your gaze.
Let your hands rest where they feel most supported.
On your legs,
Your belly,
Or your heart.
Let your breath move at its own pace,
Nothing to fix or control,
Just noticing the inhale and the exhale.
If you've been holding tension or trying to figure it all out,
See if you can soften your grip,
Just for now.
There's nowhere else you need to be.
No version of you you need to perform.
Just this breath.
Just this moment.
Let that be enough.
Begin to bring awareness through your body.
Not to fix or change anything,
But simply to notice what's here.
Noticing where the body is being held.
And seeing if you're able to soften into the support beneath you.
Breathe here.
Knowing that you're exactly where you need to be.
In this moment.
In this season.
As your journey is still unfolding.
We'll start by bringing attention to the mind.
What's here?
Does the mind feel heavy?
Overwhelmed,
Tired Is it racing?
Judging.
Maybe planning.
Noticing the quality of your thoughts.
Not to label them as good or bad.
We're just simply noticing.
Bringing attention to the top of your head.
The forehead,
Behind the eyes.
The jaw.
Maybe you let the jaw soften here.
Noticing your neck.
Your shoulders.
Are you holding anything here?
And if so?
What would it feel like to allow the support beneath you to do some of the caring?
Bring awareness to your chest.
Your belly.
Your arms and hands.
There's no right way to feel.
Numbness,
Tension.
Warm.
Nothing.
It's all information.
Continue downward.
Through your hips.
Thighs,
Knees.
All the way to your feet.
Noticing what's here.
If the mind starts to wander,
That's okay.
Gently bring it back to this moment.
Living in the in-between can feel very disorienting.
It can be frustrating,
Scary,
Overwhelming.
And it makes sense to fill these things.
It's a very tender space to be in.
Maybe you're in a season of transition or living with the tension of what no longer fits and what has not fully arrived yet.
Breathe here.
Maybe placing a hand on the heart or anywhere else that may feel comforting.
Noticing where you feel the breath the most right now.
Noticing the body,
The heart space.
And gently affirming yourself.
I am enough.
Even in the in-between.
I trust the timing of my life.
Sometimes living in the liminal space can be challenging.
A liminal space is an in-between season of life.
When something is shifting.
When you are no longer where you once were.
And not yet where you want to be.
Especially when there are so many external forces that condition us to believe we are stuck or falling behind.
Society,
Social media.
The habit of comparing ourselves to the people around us.
If you're currently living in the tension of no longer being where you once were,
And not yet where you want to be.
Know this.
You are not stuck.
You are not failing.
You're not doing anything wrong.
You are in transition.
Take a moment here to simply breathe.
Noticing the breath as it moves through the body.
Noticing what is here without needing to rush it away.
Without needing to solve anything right now.
Maybe placing a hand on the heart.
The belly,
Or anywhere that feels supportive.
And gently affirming to yourself.
I am allowed to be here.
I'm allowed to not have all of the answers right now.
I trust that what is unfolding will reveal itself in time.
Let the breath be an anchor.
Let the body be a place you can return to.
Even here.
Even now.
Even in the unknown.
And as we begin to close,
Remember this.
This in-between season does not make you behind.
It does not make you broken.
It does not mean you have missed your way.
Sometimes life asks us to pause in the middle,
To listen more deeply,
To loosen our grip.
To trust what is not yet fully visible.
So if this season feels unclear.
.
.
See if you can offer yourself a little more grace.
A little more patience.
A little more compassion.
For the part of you that is still becoming.
Coming back to the breath now.
Inhaling fully.
And exhaling slowly.
Again,
Inhale.
And exhale.
Gently noticing the support beneath you.
The sounds around you.
The space you are in.
And when you're ready,
Slowly inviting movement back into the body.
If your eyes are closed,
Gently opening them.
Thank you so much for practicing with me today.
If this meditation supported you,
See if you can carry one small piece of it with you.
Maybe one breath.
Maybe one moment of grace.
Maybe the reminder that you are not stuck.
You are in transition.
