Welcome to the toolbox.
We're going to begin with a short round of EFT tapping.
Before we move into a bit of a quieter meditation.
So tapping works with specific points on the body.
Similar to acupressure points while we speak directly to whatever doubt or self-criticism tends to show up for you.
If this is new to you,
The points are the side of your hand,
What's sometimes called the karate chop point.
The top of your head,
The sort of inner eyebrow.
The side of your eye,
Under your eye,
Under your nose,
Your chin,
Your collarbone,
And under your arms,
Just below the armpit region.
So we'll move through this together,
So don't worry about memorising the order right now.
So before we start tapping through the points,
We'll begin with what's called a setup statement.
This is repeated three times while tapping continuously on that karate chop point.
The outer edge of your hand.
And so we're just going to tap on that point now.
You can use two fingers,
You can use the edges of your fingertips,
Completely up to you,
No right or wrong.
We'll just.
.
.
Repeating after me either out loud or silently.
Even though part of me doubts my worth,
I am choosing to show up for myself anyway.
Even though part of me doubts my worth,
I'm choosing to show up for myself anyway.
Even though part of me doubts my worth,
I'm choosing to show up for myself anyway.
Now we'll move through the points.
So starting with the top of the hat.
This doubt I carry about my words.
Coming to the eyebrow point,
This old story that I am not enough.
Maybe I learned this somewhere a long time ago.
Tapping on the side of the eye.
And then coming to the under eye,
But I do not need to keep carrying this.
Under the nose.
I am allowed to take up space.
Coming to the chin.
I am allowed to be seen.
Coming to the collarbone.
My worth isn't up for negotiation.
Under the arm.
It was never something I had to earn.
And then we're going to come through that one more time.
So again,
Just tapping,
Repeating after me,
Top of the head,
This doubt I carry about my work.
Coming to the eyebrow point,
This old story that I'm not enough.
Side of the eye.
Maybe I learnt this somewhere a long time ago.
Under the eye but I do not need to keep carrying this.
Under the nose.
I am allowed to take up space.
The chin,
I am allowed to be seen.
The collarbone.
My worth isn't up for negotiation.
Under the arm.
It was never something I had to earn.
And then we're gonna come back to the top of the head.
Again,
Just repeating after me if it feels right.
I am worthy exactly as I am right now.
Eyebrow.
Not after I have achieved something.
Not once I am fixed.
Now.
Side of the eye,
I trust myself to handle what's ahead.
Under the eye,
I trust my own voice.
Under the nose.
I do not need permission to believe in myself.
Chin,
I give that permission to myself.
Collarbone,
I am capable.
Under the arm.
I am enough and I always have been.
And just taking a really gentle breath in.
And just let it out with a sigh.
And just noticing.
Anything that shifted.
Even slightly,
Might be in your body.
In your breath.
The way that you're sitting.
No right answer here,
Just noticing.
And now just letting the body rest for a moment.
Carrying whatever has shifted from that tapping into a quieter more settled space.
Let your hands just come to rest,
Let your breath settle into its own rhythm.
Just connecting with that version of you that already knows your worth.
Not the version still trying to prove something or earn a place.
Or shrink to fit somewhere smaller than you are.
The version underneath all of that.
We don't need to build that knowing from nothing.
We just need to remember it.
Let yourself feel even for a moment what it would be like to walk through the rest of today as though your worth were already settled.
Not something to defend,
Not something to chase,
Just something simply,
Quietly true.
Your worth was never measured by your output,
Your achievements.
How much you gave to others or how impressive you managed to seem.
It was there before any of that and it will still be there after.
Carry this with you,
Not as something to prove today.
But as something to simply remember again and again.
Until it no longer needs remembering at all.
Maybe it's bringing a hand to your heart space.
And just gently taking again that slightly fuller breath in.
And releasing.
And whenever you're ready,
Just gently opening your eyes.
Carrying the steadiness back with you into your day.
