Transcript

Find a comfortable seated or lying down position.

Relax the whole of your body.

Soften any tension in your head,

Neck and shoulders.

Relax your arms.

Soften your chest and your back.

Relax your hips.

All the way down to your legs.

Let your feet and toes be soft.

And then start to take a few deeper healing breaths.

Breaths that fill your body with fresh new air.

See if you can send the breath down into your ribs and belly.

And back out again slowly and smoothly.

As you breathe,

Allow your mind to wander.

Now try to visualize what your most peaceful self would look like.

The most peaceful version of yourself.

When you are your most peaceful self.

Are you visualizing yourself inside or outside?

Is it dark or light?

Or somewhere in between?

How is the weather?

In your visualization,

What is around you?

Nature or other items?

What are they?

Or are you just simply surrounded by fresh air and space?

What are you wearing as your most peaceful self?

Who are you with?

Or are you enjoying this peaceful time alone?

Do you notice any sounds around you?

When you're being peaceful.

What can you smell?

When you're here in this visualization.

Focus on the calm and stillness of this image of you.

This peaceful version of yourself.

Try to remember it.

Gently engraving the picture of your peaceful self in your mind.

How do you feel?

When you're being your most peaceful self.

Soak up that feeling.

And ask yourself,

What are the things that are making you feel this way?

At peace.

Maybe it's removal of things.

That help you to feel peaceful.

Hold on to this feeling of inner peace.

You can keep it with you for as long as you need to.

Hold on to this feeling of freedom in your mind.

Let it become part of you.

Continue to rest here for a little while longer.

In this peaceful space.

Stay resting here for as long as you need to.
