This is a guided gratitude practice to build the inner muscles of intentionally looking for the things that are going well in our lives. Our hypervigilent minds can often paint an inaccurate picture of our lives pointing out only the things that are wrong or need fixing, adding ever more tasks to our to do list. This practice helps us build new neural pathways to see the full picture of our lives including the gifts. We don't push away the things that are hard, but allow the things we are grateful for to resource us. The practice invites us to engage all of our senses. It can be used daily in the morning, evening or a pause in the middle of the day. Photo by The Filmic on Unsplash
