Welcome to the dosha awareness meditation embracing inner harmony find a comfortable seated position and gently close your eyes begin by tuning into the body notice the subtle movements within you despite your stillness your mind continuously wonders your nervous system transmit signals and food travels through your digestive system filling your breath bringing oxygen to every cell your heart's rhythmic beat and the circulation throughout your body all these movements are guided by our underlying intelligence known in Ayurveda as Vata the fourths resembling the wind inconsistent movement and never at rest shift your attention to the constant change within your seemingly stable form your body is a continuous process of transformation it digests your meals sorts the useful from the unnecessary regulates temperature processes sensory experiences metabolizes toxins and even internally digest impressions and experiences the force covering these processes the digestive and metabolism is Pitta warm intense and penetrating while your cells and tissues rebuild with nutrients carried through your body there's a stabilizing energy supporting your entire system feel the support of your bones ligaments and muscles since the lubrication in your air passages vital fluids protecting your nervous system and maintaining the body structure strength and fluidity this stabilizing energy is kappa take a moment to appreciate these three dosha Vata Pitta and Kapha for their role in supporting your well-being and contentment now slowly open your eyes namaste
