It's time to rest,

To loosen your hold on the day,

And let yourself be carried into the hush of the stars.

Take a deep,

Slow breath in through your nose,

And exhale gently through your mouth.

Feel your body soften.

Again,

Inhale starlight,

Exhale gravity.

Each breath draws you a little closer to the quiet rhythm of the night sky.

Now imagine that above you,

The veil between Earth and cosmos is thinning.

The ceiling of your room dissolves,

And the first stars begin to appear,

Bright pinpoints in a deep ocean of blue.

Their light feels alive,

Like gentle music whispering through your bones.

And as you breathe,

You realize you're no longer lying still.

You're floating upward,

Weightless and calm,

Drifting through the soft folds of night.

The air here feels cool and silken,

And somewhere ahead,

You notice a warm glow.

A floating observatory of light.

You're being drawn toward it,

A place where the starkeepers dwell.

They are the quiet guardians of the constellations,

Tending to each point of light the way a musician tunes the strings of a harp.

As you enter their sanctuary,

You're greeted by a sense of sacred stillness.

The space hums faintly.

A low celestial resonance that vibrates through your chest.

You see them now,

Figures of shimmering light,

Neither human nor entirely other,

Moving gracefully from star to star,

Gently polishing each one until it glows with perfect clarity.

Each time a star is touched,

You feel a soft release within yourself.

A thought loosens.

A memory quiets.

A worry exhales its last breath.

The starkeepers work quietly,

Tenderly,

And as they do,

They begin to sing.

Their voices are pure tone,

A lullaby in a language made of light.

You recognize this melody as something your soul has known forever.

Their song wraps around you like a silken blanket of sound.

It tells you,

You have done enough.

You are safe to rest.

The universe will hold your place while you sleep.

You feel yourself lying back upon a bed of soft starlight,

The fabric of the cosmos itself.

It molds perfectly to your form,

Cradling every muscle,

Every thought,

Every cell.

The starkeepers continue their work around you,

Polishing,

Humming,

Shining,

Until the whole sky becomes a single breathing organism.

You can feel it now,

The heartbeat of creation,

Steady,

Luminous,

Ancient.

Your own heart sinks to that rhythm.

It slows.

It steadies.

It remembers.

In this space,

You are not separate from the stars.

You are part of the great constellation of being,

A note in the music.

A light in the field.

Let yourself dissolve into that knowing.

Let sleep take you gently,

Not as an ending,

But as a return.

The starkeepers continue to sing,

Their voices soft as falling snow.

A lullaby for the soul.

A promise for the dreamer.

You drift deeper now.

Beyond time.

Beyond sound.

Into pure,

Luminous rest.

And as you sleep,

The starkeepers smile.

Another star has found its peace.
