These affirmations are meant to ease anxiety.
Anxiety often comes from looking too far into the future rather than staying in the present moment.
So we'll use our breath as we say these affirmations out loud.
And if you want to take it up just another level,
I would even recommend grabbing your journal and writing down the affirmations as I say them.
Writing has a very powerful way of shifting the mind.
When you're done,
You can even hang these affirmations up somewhere that you can see them daily.
So let's begin by taking a deep breath in through the nose.
Fill up the lungs.
And slowly exhale.
Let's begin.
I am safe in this moment.
I am safe in this moment.
I am stronger than my anxious thoughts.
I am stronger than my anxious thoughts.
I release what I cannot control.
I release what I cannot control.
Peace is available to me now.
Peace.
Is available to me now.
It is safe for me to release my fear and anxiety.
It is safe for me to release my fear and anxiety.
I am cool,
Calm,
And collected.
I am cool,
Calm,
And collected.
I am safe and loved.
I am safe in love.
I am confident and able to overcome any challenge that comes my way.
I am confident and able to overcome any challenge that comes my way.
I give myself permission to let go of the things I can't control.
I give myself permission to let go of the things I can't control.
I am enough as I am right now.
I am enough as I am right now.
I release all expectations and live in the present moment.
I release all expectations and live in the present moment.
I release the thoughts that do not serve me.
I release the thoughts that do not serve me.
Today,
I choose to be calm,
Happy,
And positive.
Today I choose to be calm,
Happy,
And positive.
Everything is working out for me.
Everything is working out for me.
Peace is available to me now.
Peace is available to me now.
I am supported more than I realize.
I am supported more than I realize.
I am grounded in my body.
I am grounded in my body.
I am present,
Right here,
Right now.
I am present,
Right here,
Right now.
I am quieter inside than I was a moment ago.
I am quieter inside than I was a moment ago.
I am finding my calm.
I am finding my calm.
I am not my anxious thoughts.
I am not my anxious thoughts.
I am gentle with myself right now.
I am gentle with myself right now.
Now let's take five minutes to journal.
Let your thoughts empty onto the page.
Whatever feels heavy or like a looping thought,
Let it out.
There is no right or wrong.
But whatever you write down,
That doesn't serve you.
Once it's written,
Let it go.
If you're not writing today,
Simply breathe and listen to the music.
When the timer is finished,
You'll hear a soft bell.
You can continue writing,
Or you can start your day.
You All right,
We have come to the end of our journaling session.
Take one more breath in and out.
And remember,
Your mind can change.
Anxiety doesn't have to be your final story.
Come back tomorrow.
Watch it.
And allow your mind to change little by little.
Acknowledge yourself for the time you spent.
And I will see you again tomorrow.
