Lemlunay

We begin by honoring the ancestors. This folk song is from the indigenous T’boli people of South Cotabato, Mindanao, in the Philippines. The title means Paradise, and the song talks about coming together in community with music and dance and creating heaven on earth. Jo-Anne learned this song from an elder over two decades ago and is so grateful for the opportunity to share it with you.
