Let's start by claiming the day.
Just for today,
Fill in the blank.
Just for today,
I see beauty in this world.
Just for today,

Bring the spine straight,
The breath deep into the lowest part of the lung.
Feel the breath expand into the lower abdomen,
The ribs,
The back of the lungs.
Follow the breath as it travels up the spine,
Upper chest,
Throat.
And as you exhale,
Open the mouth and make a few full cycles of the breath,
Inhaling through the nose,
Long spine.
Exhaling,
Relax jaw,
Soften the shoulders.
And find a slow,
Steady,
Even breath.
Inhaling,
Exhaling,
Equal length.
And as you exhale,
Bringing your full presence into your breath,
Into your body,
Anchor your presence with the breath.
With each in breath,
Imagine an open lotus at the crown of the head,
Wide,
Thousands of petals,
White.
And as you inhale,
Feel the connection from the crown of the head to the space two inches below the belly button,
Two inches deep.
And on the inhale,
Sense,
Feel every petal opening towards the sky,
Towards the sun.
And as you exhale,
Feel the connection from the navel,
All the way down through the pelvis and soles of the feet,
Rooting down,
Just like the lotus.
With each breath,
Travel with the breath,
Follow the breath,
Inhaling,
Opening crown of the head,
Feeling the breath from that space below the navel,
Through the central channel of the body,
All the way up into that beautiful open lotus flower.
Feel the crown chakra opening.
Feel that opening travel down the spine,
Center of the head,
Center of the ears,
Throat,
Chest,
Abdomen,
Pelvis,
All the way down,
Rooting down through the soles of the feet.
Imagine your whole being like that of a lotus.
With the out-breath,
Root down,
Squeeze the air from the lungs,
Navel to spine,
And feel the roots growing deep from the navel,
Pelvis,
Soles of the feet,
Deep into the earth,
Dark brown,
Rich soil.
Feel the roots reaching down for water,
Feel the rooting lifting the spine,
Feeling the in-breath lengthen,
Feel the heart open,
The chest,
Sternum,
Lifting up while the bottom ribs reach down to the frontal hip bones.
Notice the quality of the lotus flower,
The petals reaching up to the light,
And as you exhale,
Rooting down into the earth,
Into the dark,
Rich soil,
Looking for water,
Nourishment.
Feel your entire aura,
White,
Emanating light,
Soft,
And feel the energy from that lotus blossom at the crown of the head.
Feel that energy move down the body through every organ,
From the beating heart to the small and large intestine,
The stomach,
Liver,
Spleen,
Colon,
Into the pelvis,
Down the legs,
And through the soles of the feet.
And remember that statement just for today,
And fill in the blank.
Just for today,
I will see beauty in everything.
Just for today,
I will allow ease and flow.
Just for today,
I will believe everything is going my way.
As you go throughout the day,
Feel that connection,
Keep that opening of the crown,
Wide open lotus blossom.
Feel that opening through every chakra,
Through the central channel of the body.
Feel the strength in rooting,
Feeling the roots,
Just like the lotus,
Reaching deep into the mud,
And just for today,
