Hi,
I'm Shanti.
Today I'm going to teach you how to tune in.
Before every kundalini class or practice.
We chant the mantra,
Om Namo,
Guru Dev Namo.
This is called the Adi Mantra.
Ong Namo means I bow to that great creator force.
Guru is the force that takes us from dark to light.
And Dave Namal.
I bow to that ancient wisdom within.
What do you chant?
Feel as if there's a beam from your heart.
To the ethers.
And you're connecting to these ancient wisdom channels.
And you feel the wisdom pouring into you as you chant,
Connecting to that infinite source.
Let's try it together.
Begin by finding a comfortable seated position.
Feel your sits bones rooting down into the earth.
Feel your spine long and tall.
Your chin is slightly tucked in to keep a nice straight line up the back of the neck.
And then close down the eyes.
Turn your attention inward.
And focus your eyes in and up at the third eye center.
Bring your palms to prayer pose and place them in front of the heart center.
Take a deep inhale through the nose.
And exhale,
Let it go.
And again,
One more time,
Deep inhale.
Exhale,
Let it go.
And then inhale to begin.
Om Namo Gurudev Namo Ong Namo Gurudev Namo Om Namo Gurudev Namo And inhale deeply,
Fill all the way up to the collarbones.
And exhale,
Let it go.
And gently float the palms down to the knees.
