If Insomnia is keeping you up tonight, come wind down with this sleep meditation. During this session, you'll do some deep breathing and then visualize falling asleep on top of a beautiful puffy cloud. From there you'll begin to shut off your racing brain by imagining all of your worries/fears/concerns fall off your body like rain. The audio track includes rain and thunder and binaural beats with a soft piano melody. Sweet dreams!

Go ahead and lie down in your bed.

Get nice and comfortable,

Nice and cozy under your covers.

And just begin to relax.

Take a deep,

Deep breath in through your nose.

Hold for four seconds.

And then just breathe it all out.

That's right,

Just another deep,

Deep,

Deep breath in through the nose.

Hold for four seconds.

And then just breathe it all out.

Go ahead and take another deep,

Deep breath in.

Hold for four seconds.

And then just let it all out.

Very good.

Continue breathing just like that.

Just each time you breathe out,

I'd like you to imagine that you're just melting into your bed.

You're just melting into your bed.

I'd like you to imagine,

Imagine that your bed transforms into a beautiful,

Big,

Puffy cloud.

And although this is a cloud,

It's able to support you.

Just imagine how soft,

How soft the cloud feels right underneath you.

And I'd like you to imagine that all of your worries that have accumulated throughout the day,

Throughout the week,

Throughout the month,

Just begin to drain off of your body,

Off of the cloud,

Like raindrops,

Like gentle,

Delicate raindrops.

And so I'd like you to shut off your racing brain.

And when any thoughts arise,

Just notice them.

And then just let them go.

Just bring your attention back to imagining you're laying on the most beautiful,

Puffy cloud and all of your worries and fears,

Everything that keeps you awake,

Ruminating about the past,

Worried about the future.

Just let it drain.

Just let it drain down like rain.

Just begin to feel released.

Release of all of your burdens.

Just let them go.

Just let them go.

Just let them go.

Just let your eyes start to feel more and more heavy.

Just heavier and heavier.

I guess if you have no desire to open them,

Just begin to feel that warm relaxation.

Flow down your scalp,

Into your forehead,

Over your heavy eyelids,

Down your cheekbones,

Down your jaw,

Down your neck,

Down your chest,

Down through your arms and your hands,

And your stomach and your waist,

All the way down your legs,

Into your ankles and your feet.

Just feel relaxed and warm from head to toe.

Feel that warmth go back up your feet,

Up your legs,

Up your waist,

Your stomach,

Your chest,

Up your neck,

Up your jaw muscle and cheekbones,

Up your forehead and into your scalp.

Go ahead and continue to lean more and more into this relaxation.

It's okay to release all of your worries.

Just let go.

Go ahead and fall into a deep,

Deep sleep.

You're safe.
