Welcome to this meditation,

Releasing emotional blocks.

A journey to inner peace.

I'm so glad you've taken this time for yourself today.

Life can sometimes feel heavy,

Like we're carrying burdens we can't quite put down.

But here,

In this moment,

You have permission to release what no longer serves you.

This is a safe,

Gentle space for you to reconnect with your heart,

To honour your emotions,

And to let go with love.

Take a deep breath and settle into this moment.

You are exactly where you're meant to be.

Let's begin by finding a comfortable position,

Either sitting or lying down,

And softly closing your eyes.

Take a deep breath in through your nose,

Allowing your chest and belly to expand fully.

Hold it gently for a moment,

And as you exhale,

Feel the weight of the day begin to melt away.

Let's do this again.

Inhale deeply,

Feeling yourself with calm and ease,

And exhale slowly,

Releasing tension and worry.

One more time now.

Breathe in softness,

And exhale everything you don't need.

Let your breath settle into its natural rhythm,

Flowing easily,

Like a soothing tide.

Bring your attention to the top of your head.

Imagine a gentle,

Warm light resting there,

Softening any tension.

Let this light move down slowly,

Washing over your forehead,

Easing your jaw,

And relaxing your shoulders.

Feel it flow down your arms,

Your chest,

And your back,

Like a comforting embrace.

Let this light travel through your belly,

Your hips,

Your legs,

And all the way to your feet,

Grounding you gently to the earth.

With each breath,

Feel yourself becoming lighter,

Softer,

And more at ease.

Now,

Gently bring to mind an area of your life that feels heavy or stuck.

It might be a challenging emotion,

A situation that's weighing on your heart,

Or even a thought that keeps circling back.

There's no need to force anything.

Just let whatever comes to mind arise naturally.

As you sit with this feeling,

Notice where it lives in your body.

Is it a tightness in your chest?

A heaviness in your stomach?

A lump in your throat?

There's no right or wrong answer.

Simply notice it,

Like you're observing a dear friend.

With every inhale,

Imagine sending your breath to this area,

Like a soft,

Golden light.

Let it wrap around the tension,

Soothing and softening it.

And as you exhale,

Imagine releasing a tiny piece of this block,

Like a leaf floating downstream.

Inhale light and comfort,

And exhale the weight,

Little by little.

If emotions arise,

No,

That's okay.

You are safe here.

Let these feelings move through you,

Like waves on a shore.

Each one that passes brings you closer to calm,

To clarity,

And to peace.

As you continue to breathe,

Imagine this emotional block dissolving,

Like mist lifting in the morning sun.

In its place,

Picture a vast open space,

A space filled with warmth,

Love,

And healing light.

Take a moment to repeat this affirmation,

Either silently or out loud.

I release what no longer serves me.

I welcome peace,

Love,

And clarity into my life.

Let these words sink deeply into your heart.

Repeat them a few more times,

Feeling their truth and power grow with each breath.

When you're ready,

Gently bring your awareness back to the present moment.

Notice the surface supporting you.

Feel the air on your skin and the gentle rhythm of your breath.

Wiggle your fingers and toes,

And when you're ready,

Slowly open your eyes.

Take a moment to sit quietly.

How do you feel?

Lighter,

Perhaps?

A little freer?

Thank yourself for showing up today,

For offering yourself this gift of release and renewal.

After this meditation,

Take a few moments to reflect.

What emotions or thoughts surfaced during this practice?

How can you continue to support yourself in letting go?
