Find a comfortable position.
You may be sitting or lying down.
May your hands rest wherever feels natural.
And if it feels comfortable.
Gently close your eyes.
Take us slow.
Deep breath in.
.
.
And exhale softly.
Breathe in.
And let the breath leave your body.
Without forcing it.
You are already enough.
Exactly as you are.
For these next few minutes,
There is nothing you need to fix about yourself.
Nothing to improve,
Nothing to compare.
This is simply a moment to come home to your body.
Exactly as it is today.
Bring your attention to the places where your body is supported.
Feel the surface beneath you.
Notice the weight of your body being held.
You don't have to hold yourself up right now.
You can allow yourself to be supported.
Now bring your awareness gently to your face.
Your forehead.
Your eyes.
Your cheeks.
Your jaw.
If you notice any tension,
Let your face soften.
You don't need to look a certain way.
You don't need to be beautiful enough.
You don't need to meet anyone else's idea of beauty for this moment.
You are simply here.
Bring your awareness down through your neck and shoulders.
Notice how they feel.
Perhaps they are carrying more than you realize with your next exhale.
Let them drop a little.
And silently say to yourself,
I don't have to carry the pressure to look perfect.
You are already enough.
Exactly as you are.
Bring your attention to your chest.
In your heart.
Notice the gentle movement of your breath.
Your body has been breathing for you through every ordinary day,
Through moments of joy,
Through difficult moments,
Through changes,
Through every season of your life.
Your body has been with you through all of it.
Place a hand over your heart,
If that feels comforting,
And silently offer yourself these words.
Thank you,
Body.
Not because you need to love every part of your appearance.
Not because you need to feel confident every day.
But because your body is the place where you get to experience your life.
Now bring your awareness to your belly.
Notice whatever is present.
Warmth,
Coolness,
Movement,
Stillness.
There is no right way for your belly to look.
There is only this moment and the breath moving gently through you.
Let your belly self in.
And remind yourself.
My worth is not measured by my shape or my size.
Bring your awareness down through your hips,
Your thighs,
Your knees,
Your calves,
And your feet.
You don't have to judge what you notice.
Simply feel.
Let your body be experienced rather than evaluated.
You are already enough.
Exactly as you are.
Now imagine.
Looking at your whole body with the kindness.
You would offer someone you deeply love.
No criticism,
No comparison,
No measuring,
Just compassion.
This is your body.
The body that carries you.
The body that lets you hug,
Walk,
Dance,
Rest,
Breathe,
And experience the world around you.
You don't have to love your reflection every day.
You can simply practice respecting yourself.
You can make peace with the idea that your body is allowed to change,
Allowed to age,
Allowed to have softness,
Curves,
Marks,
Scars,
And differences.
You are still worthy.
You are still enough.
Take one deeper breath in.
And slowly exhale.
Silently repeat.
I am more than my appearance.
My body deserves kindness.
I choose to live in my body.
Not judge it.
Feel the support beneath you once again.
Notice your breath.
Notice that you are here,
And perhaps instead of asking,
How do I look?
You can gently begin asking,
How do I feel?
What does my body need?
How can I care for myself today?
Take one final.
Nourish you breath in.
And exhale completely.
When you're ready,
Gently move your fingers and toes.
And slowly open your eyes.
You are already enough.
Exactly as you are.
You do not have to earn your right to feel at home in your body.
You are already allowed to belong here.
And today.
You can choose kindness over criticism.
Welcome back.
