Shamanic Drumming - "Sofa"
Sofa means “warrior” in Malinke language and is often used in initiations and ceremonial practices. These drums were recorded by Robert John Malone at a professional recording studio known as Echo Mountain in Asheville, North Carolina. They have been performed in their authentic form and accompaniments by musician & sound healing practitioner Billy Zanski who is the owner of Skinny Beats in Asheville, NC. This Journey consists of +10min of drumming with a live improvisational lead composed of a vintage analog synth and pad run embedded in a binaural beat soundscape.
