Welcome back to Energetic Breathwork.
This practice is designed to enhance our sense of equanimity and calm.
This practice is not meant to be as intense as my other ones,
This one's too.
Be a little more calm.
So can be done.
In the morning,
At night,
Or anytime really.
Today we'll be doing two more breaths.
Kalabhati,
Which is also called Breath of Fire.
And finally,
Shamanic breathing.
Our breath holds will get progressively longer from 60 seconds to 2 minutes,
But please only do a breath hold as long as you're comfortable.
No need to push yourself beyond what your body tells you.
Today's optional mudra is the Hansi mudra,
Which is also known as the inner smile gesture,
Which supports inner joy,
Positive emotions,
And a sense of lighthearted bliss.
You can continue to use the mudra after our practice up to 30 minutes to get the full energetic benefits.
So get comfortable as we begin with a nice slow tumo breath.
In three,
Two,
One,
Breathe.
In through the mouth out through the mouth with the addition of what's called ujjayi breath,
Which is a constriction of the throat so as to make almost the sound of waves upon a shore.
To get the most from this breath.
I recommend giving it a full inhale and a full exhale with every breath.
Now two more full,
Beautiful cycles.
Before we shift to Kalabati Breath of Fire.
3,
2,
Breath of fire is an active constriction of the lower dantian,
Creating the exhale,
Followed by a passive inhale.
Pulling the belly button in.
Flexing our core.
In 3,
2,
Shamanic breathing.
Shamanic breathing is a two-part inhale through the mouth.
Filling the belly,
Then filling the chest.
Followed by an exhale through the mouth.
Four more cycles.
Before we make the transition to our first raffle.
It's our last full cycle.
Big breath in.
Holding here at the top for just a slight inhale hold.
And releasing in 3,
2,
1 Exhale.
Letting everything fall away and allowing our full release to carry us into our natural bliss for 60 seconds.
30 seconds remaining.
Full body recovery breath in,
In three,
Two,
One.
And squeeze the root,
The root lock,
Mula Bandha,
Drawing energy up the spine all the way to the third eye.
And releasing everything now.
And doing beautiful work.
Return to normal breathing as you recover.
Allowing ourselves to slow down into this moment.
Making any adjustments if you need them.
Is to begin round number two in three,
Two,
Slow tumo breath.
In through the mouth out through the mouth with the addition of ujjayi breath feel free to rock back and forth as you do this to help get into a trance state.
Which helps with calmness and regulate the nervous system.
Okay,
Two more full cycle.
Before we make that transition to Breath of Fire.
Last cycle Three,
Two,
Kalabhati,
Breath of fire.
Pulsing the belly button back.
Let's bring some power to the shamanic breath in 3,
2,
Shamanic breath.
Still trusting the inner bliss to guide us as we prepare for our second retention.
Last cycle.
And big breath in.
Hold this energy in.
Let it rise.
Before releasing in 321.
Trusting this process as we fall into stillness for 90 seconds,
Holding the breath out.
If you feel any tingling,
Sensations,
That's okay.
Let the body do what the body does naturally.
If you need to,
It's okay to take a little sip of air.
And exhale it out.
And get right back into the breath hold.
30 seconds remaining.
Full body recovery breath in and three,
Two,
One.
Holding and squeezing the root,
Mula Bandha.
Drawing the energy up from the root,
Up the spine to the third eye.
Before releasing.
Ugh.
Uhhh.
.
.
Beautiful.
Returning to normal breathing.
Remembering to slow it all down and enter this moment fully.
Get ready for round number three.
In three,
Two,
Slow to mobile.
In the mouth,
Out through the mouth.
Feel free to rock back and forth as you do this to help get into a trance state.
Which helps with calmness.
Regulate the nervous system.
Filling the lungs all the way up.
And exhaling all the way out.
Every time.
Once again reminding ourselves to trust this process as we approach Kalabhati,
Breath of Fire.
Last cycle.
In three,
Two,
Breath of fire.
In three,
Two,
Shamanic breath for the final time.
And these are our last three cycles of active breathing.
Before we move once again into the breath hold.
In three,
Two,
Big breath in.
Hold and trust your process.
Before releasing in three,
Two,
One.
Letting every element of tension or holding of any kind drop as our inner guidance carries us through two minutes of stillness.
90 seconds remaining.
60 seconds remaining If you need to,
It's okay to take a little sip of air.
And exhale it out and get right back into the breath hold.
30 seconds remaining.
Finding calmness and equanimity.
Now for our last full body recovery breath in,
In 3,
2,
1,
Inhale.
And squeeze the root area mula bandha drawing the energy up from the root up the spine into the third eye holding our awareness there before releasing and finishing with a nice slow breath in through the nose.
Exhaling through pursed lips.
Thank you once again for allowing me to guide you today.
I hope you enjoyed the practice and are feeling a renewed sense of bliss,
Inner peace and happiness.

And now for today's quote.
All love is expansion.
All selfishness is contraction.
Love is therefore the only law of life.
He who loves,
Lives.
He who is selfish is dying.
Therefore,
Love for love's sake,
Because it is the law of life.
Just as you breathe to live.
Swami Vivekananda.
