Welcome to the May 2026 Psychic Forecast.
Today we'll be using cards from the Moonchild Tarot Deck.
We've been learning so much in 2026,
That is no question.
With each passing month,
We're developing new skills,
Gaining wisdom,
Practicing our lessons learned,
And increasing in our clarity and conviction.
May is no different.
We finally reach the edge of the forest,
Thank goodness,
That we spent all of April walking through.
May has us putting on our sunglasses because we've spent such a long time in the shadow of this forest.
We haven't experienced real full-on sunshine since back in February and March.
It's been a long time coming.
We reach back into our messenger bag and pull out huge containers of sunscreen and a hat.
We're extracting our sunglasses and maybe even UV protective layers.
Because our skin is not prepared for this adjustment,
We must literally and metaphorically layer up with protection from the environment and the climate.
If you're someone who isn't living somewhere on Earth where the weather is currently warm,
Don't worry.
This scene isn't about literal sunshine.
On the metaphorical side,
And really for everyone regardless of the local climate,
There is a thematic and energetic role at play here.
And to clarify,
It's less so that it's going to be sunny all of a sudden in May 2026 than April having provided such a dark contrast.
We spend the first half of May simply adjusting,
Applying,
Putting on,
And activating our different layers of protection.
I also see us pulling out and engaging with some technology stored in our bag.
It almost feels like,
Oh wow,
I forgot I packed that.
Regardless of if we've used this tech or not all year long,
We're experiencing an epiphany that we could leverage something a little bit more high-tech to help us actually get out our message.
Think all the way back to the January forecast where our message was wisdom we acquired and spent the last several months of 2026 trying to deliver.
There was a lot of plot and side quests going on,
So it's easy to have forgotten that key launching moment of our year.
With this technology,
We finally have a shortcut on hand.
Rather than needing to physically get all the way home,
We can share a message in an expedient,
Efficient,
And time-considerate way.
Time very much feels of the essence,
And we can't delay.
It doesn't matter what self-doubt we may have experienced recently,
We have to reconnect to our mission and become a leader and teacher.
Now that we have regained our sense of direction,
We remember that this is what we're meant to be doing.
We're meant to share.
And with that,
We go to our first card,
Knight of Cups.
And with this card,
I receive the message,
Align with your heart and intuition.
In tarot,
Knights are all about action and shifting our behaviors.
Cups represent the water element,
And they symbolize the heart,
Relationships,
Creativity,
And intuition.
In this specific situation,
We're receiving this card as instruction to not only review and think about our behaviors and decisions,
But to start making adjustments.
And not just any adjustments,
But ones that are meaningful and keep our values in mind.
Remember,
We were first talking about aligning with our values back in February,
So it's no surprise to be called back to that aspect of our original mission this year.
We're checking in on what our heart wants and desires.
To determine what is supportive of us,
We're trusting our gut.
What's coming in,
Underlined,
Bolded,
In all caps,
Is that the work this month is to take steps,
Whether big or small,
In alignment with our values,
Desires,
And intuition.
To receive wisdom from our innate abilities,
It's a matter of getting quiet and being willing and open to listening.
Alright,
So we've received our instructions,
And throughout May,
We should remember to reapply.
If we put on sunscreen,
A hat,
Or other layers,
We will inevitably sweat off and diminish that protection.
We're going to need to briefly find shelter for a reset.
In that sacred pause,
We'll do whatever is necessary to keep the energy flowing and ourselves energetically protected.

Because this is very tightly aligned with what we've already been talking about,

Action.
When we bring the King from Tarot into the equation,
This is a leader who has achieved a level of mastery of their skills.
We've been doing that integration work by circling back to January and February and making adjustments in the now.
As a result,
We are demonstrating our sense of mastery.
Wands,
The fire element,
Clarify that we are demonstrating this mastery over our passions.
In following our desires and values,
We follow our purpose and are propelled forward.
The long and short for May is that we are majorly moving the needle.
We're taking everything we've learned in 2026 and applying it with our foot down on the gas.
We're really taking big strides and able to give ourselves pats on the back in light of,
Maybe literally,
Our newfound visibility and mastery.

We may truly be setting and reinforcing energetic boundaries with others,

And with time itself.
We're gearing up for a strong second half of the year.
