An awareness of openness to receive.
Some examples going outside in the sunshine.
In the morning sunshine.
And The sun is streaming onto your skin and you feel that warmth.
Or perhaps you love the rain,
So going out in the rain and feeling that sensation of the rain on your skin or your clothes.
And feeling that freshness.
Or receiving the taste as you drink your coffee.
Or receiving the laugh of your baby,
Or the touch of your partner.
Or whatever feels very easy for you.
To go,
Oh yeah,
I love receiving that.
It feels really easy to receive that.
So just start with a sense of this.
The ease of receiving.
Where it is,
What it is that you find so easy to receive.
Music,
Putting on your favourite music.
And just letting yourself.
Be immersed in that,
Receiving that.
So today,
Receiving.
And when we complete this time together that we have here,
You might like to allow it to kind of infuse and roll through your day where you just notice you keep noticing.
The element of receiving.
Receiving someone's gaze.
Receiving the weather.
Receiving touch.
Even if it's like just touch of your chair on your skin,
Receiving it,
Receiving it all.
Receiving the light through your window.
So just settling in whatever way feels really good for you,
Whether right now in this moment you want to lay down.
Or you want to move around.
Just feeling what feels really good for you so that you can just have a consciousness.
Of being with yourself.
And as you just breathe and let yourself be breathe.
Receiving the breath.
Receiving your breathing.
Just spending a few breaths here.
With this awareness of receiving.
Receiving your breathing.
Receiving a softness through your body.
Receiving the sensation of your muscles relaxing.
Your sit bones down through the chair or your sacrum onto the ground or your feet onto the earth,
The floor.
And receiving a feeling of settling.
And it may be that just now your body wants to rest.
Or it may be that you're in a moment where It's an enlivening moment.
So just notice what is naturally there for you.
And receive that sensation.
And that can shift any time.
And receiving the quiet for a few moments,
Just for a few seconds,
Receiving quietness.
For yourself.
And you might like to sense deep into your hips.
A deep.
A deep,
Fulfilling receiving of breathing.
Awareness through your pelvis.
Through your belly.
The rising of your whole torso and the gentle falling of your whole torso as you breathe.
And now aware of the surface of your skin.
Trillions and trillions and trillions and trillions of cells.
Like tiny magical little ears.
Receptors.
And just like a child,
Ready to have fun at any moment.
Ready to find joy in anything,
Anywhere.
All these receptors on your body.
Await.
To receive.
To receive all the love.
Just like the sunshine,
The warmth of the sunshine coming in through your skin or the gentleness of the rain.
Or the richness of the earth.
Or the sound of your favourite music.
And letting yourself rest in this awareness.
As we play for you today.
And knowing if something shifts,
And you move into a different awareness.
