This meditation will guide you swiftly back to sleep when you wake up unintentionally in the middle of the night.

You have a lot to do tomorrow and you need these last few hours of rest.

Do not listen to this while driving.

If you have to,

Get up now and go to the bathroom.

Then listen to this meditation as it guides you quickly and easily back to sleep.

The next time you wake up will be the exact moment you need to get out of bed to start your busy day.

You will wake up refreshed and invigorated.

Now,

Get completely comfortable again.

Shift the covers as needed.

Adjust your head on the pillow.

Let your legs lie flat.

Let your arms rest at your sides.

And let your eyes loosely close.

Take a deep breath and smell the fresh scent of your clean sheets.

Exhale any stress.

Take another deep breath and fill your lungs.

Slowly exhale any frustrations.

Inhale soothing energy.

Breathe out your negativity.

Take another deep breath and release it along with any remaining tension.

Pretend to be the most comfortable you can be.

Imagine you're the most calm and tranquil you've ever felt.

Your body is relaxing.

All the tiny muscles around your eyes are relaxing.

You feel very calm.

A strong sense of tranquility has settled upon you.

Now,

Imagine all tension has disappeared from your body.

When I mention a part of your body,

You feel it becoming totally relaxed.

Your eyelids are very heavy.

You could open them,

But you simply don't want to.

Every muscle in your face is soft and relaxed.

Your jaw is loose and relaxed.

Your shoulders are loose and up and completely relaxed.

All the muscles in your neck are at rest.

Your fingers and your hands and your arms are totally relaxed.

Your heart rate is slowing down.

Your breathing is slow and even.

Your chest is relaxing.

All your internal organs are working at optimum efficiency.

Your hips and your stomach are completely at rest.

The large muscles in your thighs are relaxed.

The sense of relaxation slides down your knees and your shins and your calves.

Your ankles are loose and relaxed.

All the hardworking muscles in your feet are totally comfortable.

Each and every one of your toes is completely relaxed.

As I count backwards from five,

You will go deeper and deeper into this peaceful,

Resting state.

Five,

You are very relaxed.

Four,

You are twice as relaxed as you were one minute ago.

Three,

Your body is 10 times more deeply relaxed.

Two,

Your body is drawn deeper and deeper into the state of relaxation.

One,

Your body is 10 times more relaxed than it's ever been.

All the muscles around your eyes are completely relaxed.

Keeping your eyes closed,

Look up toward the sky.

Now,

Relax your eyes and all the muscles around your eyes.

In this tranquil state,

Your mind is free to absorb positive suggestions that will lead you to a happier and more productive life.

As your body enjoys well-deserved rest and deep relaxation,

The synapses in your brain are creating new connections and pathways to absorb new information and create new habits.

Now,

You are free to go back to sleep.

You are relaxed and sleepy,

Even though the activities you have planned in the morning will be very exciting.

You will succeed in the morning and throughout your day.

You are successful at every endeavor you attempt because of your skill and your tenacity.

You are talented and you are motivated.

You have honed the natural abilities you were born with.

Your drive and determination make you unstoppable.

When you wake up on time in the morning,

You will overcome every obstacle in your way because you are a problem solver.

You are up to the challenges that your day will bring.

You tolerate complications because you know you'll overcome them.

You succeed where others have failed.

You enjoy challenges.

You love the feeling of a job well done.

You love the satisfaction of knowing you did a great job.

You deserve your success.

You will achieve all the goals you've set for yourself in the morning and throughout your day.

You will accomplish everything on your to-do list.

It feels so good crossing items off the list after they are completed.

The goals you have for the morning and the rest of your day are reasonable,

Measurable,

And achievable.

You have thoughtfully decided what to do with your day.

Everything you do will bring you closer to achieving your ultimate long-term goals.

These goals are worthy of you and your valuable time.

You will celebrate each small victory tomorrow as you accomplish more and more.

Everything you've set out to do tomorrow is well within your skillset.

Your plan for tomorrow is flawless.

You have every action item memorized.

You will remember everything you need to bring with you.

You will remember every task.

Every task is easy for you to do.

You can achieve everything you need to do in the morning and throughout your day.

You'll listen to this meditation whenever you wake up in the middle of the night.

It will allow you to drift back to sleep and complete your night's rest.

You'll wake up on time in the morning,

Completely refreshed and eager to make a valuable contribution to yourself and to the world.

You will remember everything that we've discussed here and you will implement these suggestions in your daily life.
