Let's begin this new day together with a few minutes of breath,
Presence and gratitude.
Find a comfortable seat with your spine tall,
Gently closing your eyes.
Take a moment to arrive.
Feel the ground beneath you.
Feel the breath moving through you.
There is nothing to do but be here now.
Let's start by centering the mind with a simple breath pattern.
We'll do box breathing for four rounds.
To begin,
Inhale through your nose for 4 3 2 1 hold 4 3 2 1 exhale 4 3 2 1 hold 4 3 2 1 again inhale for 4 3 2 1 hold 4 3 2 1 exhale for 4 3 2 1 hold 4 3 2 1 inhale for 4 3 2 1 hold 4 3 2 1 exhale for 4 3 2 1 hold 4 3 2 1 last round inhale for 4 3 2 1 hold 4 3 2 1 exhale for 4 3 2 1 hold for 4 3 2 1 now return to your normal natural breath.
Let it be easy and gentle.
Begin to deepen the inhale just slightly.
Feel your belly rise and exhale slowly through the mouth.
With every breath in,
Invite in life.
With every breath out,
Let go.
Now quietly say to yourself,
Thank you for this breath.
Thank you for this body.
Thank you for this day.
Imagine the sun's rays warming the inside of your chest.
Think of just one thing you're grateful for right now.
Let that feeling grow inside of you with each inhale and let it settle deeper with each exhale.
Now feel yourself here alive,
Whole,
At peace.
Let this visual and intention move you into deepened gratitude and breath.
And when you're ready,
Blink your eyes open.
Welcome the light.
And as you move into your day,
May something surprise you in the best way.
May you laugh at least once.
May you remember you're already doing enough just by being you.
