It is often chanted before altars containing Buddha’s relics in Soto Zen temples in Japan. Through this chant, we express gratitude and respect for Buddha’s teachings, while deepening appreciation for our own lives. Produced by multi-instrumentalist Brad Stock, whose sensitive arrangements bring warmth and depth to the chant.
