I caught this song on the wind while at Spirit Rock Insight Meditation Center. The melody came to me first, and then the words. We were in a silent retreat, so I wasn't supposed to sing or even write it down. I had the gorgeous opportunity to witness myself grasping, "what if I lose it, what if I can't remember when it's over, I have to remember I'm a song leader, I'm a song writer, who would I be without this song!?" I sang it to myself over and over in my head for the next 3 days, and when the time came when we could speak again, I walked to the top of the mountain and sang it to the hills and the grasses and the wind from which it came. The song was not exactly the same as what I had in my head, but all things change. All music by Lauren McElroy The lyrics are: "I am moving. How spirit moves me, and I am changing for all things change. At the heart, at the root, one is all and all things change."
