This doesn't mean ignoring difficulties or pretending everything is perfect.

Gratitude helps us broaden our perspective.

So when we are stressed or overwhelmed,

The mind naturally focuses on problems,

Right?

Gratitude gently redirects some of our attention toward what is working.

What is supportive at the moment,

And what we value.

This could be something as simple as a meaningful conversation.

A beautiful sunrise.

An oven pet or a moment of peace during a busy day.

All those things we can be grateful for.

Many people practice gratitude through journaling,

Meditation,

Prayer,

Or simply a few moments each day to reflect on what they appreciate.

Research has linked gratitude practices to improved well-being.

Stronger relationships and greater emotional resilience.

The more we practice gratitude.

The more we train ourselves to recognize moments of goodness that might otherwise go unnoticed.

So that is also presence,

Right?

Gratitude doesn't change every circumstance.
