Take a moment to get comfortable and you can close your eyes and allow your breath to slow down.

You might like to inhale deeply through your nose and exhale gently through your mouth.

And with each breath you can feel yourself becoming more present,

More at ease as you let go of any distractions from your day.

Right now there is nowhere else you need to be.

This is your time,

This is your space to relax and to let go.

Now I'd like you to begin imagining a soft glow forming around you,

A gentle light,

Warm and inviting.

In this light it shifts between deep violet and rich purple.

It wraps around you like a cocoon.

It fills you with a deep sense of stillness and peace.

With every inhale the light expands,

Surrounding you with warmth and clarity.

And with every exhale any tension or worry dissolves into the glow,

Leaving you feeling lighter and calmer.

Now imagine gently drawing a circle around yourself.

This is your sacred space,

Your personal sanctuary.

And within this space you are completely safe.

Only peace,

Warmth and stillness exist here.

You can begin to place objects of comfort within this space.

Perhaps a soft cushion,

A familiar scent or an image that brings you peace.

Anything that helps you feel at home belongs here.

And the violet and purple glow strengthens,

Reinforcing this sense of safety and balance.

Take a moment to simply rest within your sanctuary.

Breathe in the sense of safety and relaxation.

And know that this space is always here for you.

And you can return whenever you need comfort,

Balance or clarity.

Let's take a moment to release any lingering tension from the body.

On your next inhale,

Make a tight fist with your hands.

Squeeze,

Hold and exhale,

Releasing all tension.

Now bring your awareness to your arms.

Inhale deeply and tense your arms,

Squeezing your muscles.

And hold and exhale,

Letting them relax completely.

Now your shoulders,

Draw them up toward your ears and hold tight.

And exhale,

Letting them drop.

And moving to your face,

Scrunch up your nose,

Clench your jaw.

Squeeze your eyes shut.

And exhale,

Allowing your face to soften and relax.

And now your torso,

Tense your stomach and lower back,

Feeling the strength in your core.

Hold and exhale,

Letting everything loosen.

Now squeeze your legs,

Your thighs,

Your calves,

Your feet.

Tighten them all.

Inhale,

Hold and exhale,

Releasing completely.

And finally,

Take one deep breath in and tense your entire body from head to toe.

As tightly as you can.

And hold and exhale,

Feeling a deep wave of relaxation wash over you.

And with each breath,

Your body becomes lighter.

With each breath,

Your mind becomes clearer.

Now,

Let your inner gaze shift and imagine yourself standing at the edge of a quiet river.

The water stretches before you,

Its surface a seamless blend of violet and indigo.

Reflecting the evening sky.

You watch the gentle ripples shimmer as a soft light of dusk dances across them.

And somewhere in the distance,

You hear water lapping against smooth stones.

A soft,

Rhythmic lullaby.

The air is cool,

Brushing lightly against your skin,

Carrying the scent of earth and wildflowers.

With each breath,

You feel as if you were part of this place.

Rooted in stillness,

Flowing with its ease.

As you follow the river's path,

A soft glow appears in the distance.

A warm,

Golden light,

Steady and unwavering.

It doesn't flicker,

It doesn't surge,

It simply shines,

Illuminating the horizon with a quiet presence.

You begin to walk toward it.

The ground beneath you firm yet soft.

The coolness of the smooth stones grounding you in each step.

There is no rush,

No effort,

Just an unfolding journey.

And the air around you is rich with familiar scents,

Perhaps lavender,

Perhaps something softer.

Something you can't quite name,

But recognize nonetheless.

The closer you get,

The more you realize this light is not separate from you.

It has always been within you.

A quiet knowing,

A constant presence.

It doesn't demand,

It doesn't waver.

It listens,

It understands.

And in this moment,

There is nothing to fix,

Nothing to prove.

Just the ease of being.

You close your eyes,

Feeling the warmth settle deep inside,

Feeling every space where uncertainty once lingered.

There is no need for words,

Yet you feel understood.

There is no need to search,

Yet you see clearly.

Here,

Within this light,

There is only stillness,

Only knowing,

Only peace.

Now simply rest in this space,

Allow yourself to soak in this peaceful energy,

To absorb the sense of balance and inner knowing.

The night has deepened,

The sky above stretching into a vast canvas of deep blue and scattered silver.

And if you intend on drifting on into a sleep,

You can gently allow your breath to carry you forward into a restful,

You can slowly let your awareness return to your body.

Feel the gentle rise and fall of your breath,

The warmth in your hand,

The softness in your shoulders,

As you take a deep breath in.

And exhale,

Knowing that the light remains within you,

A quiet,

Steady presence,

Always within reach.

And when you are ready,

You can gently open your eyes,

Bringing this stillness with you into the rest of your day.
