Welcome to this Grateful Heart Meditation.
Let's begin by finding a comfortable position,
Either seated with an upright spine or laying down.
Placing one hand over your heart and the other hand on top.
Breathing in to feel the expansion of your chest and breathing out to soften the skin of your face.
Relaxing the shoulders and lightly feeling the loving touch of your own hands.
Letting go of all and any tension in the stomach area and feeling grounded as we bring awareness to the sensations of the body touching the surface below.
Coming into the present moment,
Beginning to feel safe and steady.
Feeling supported and a sense of calm.
Imagining the breath coming in and out of the heart centre.
As we start to count,
Breathing in for 1,
2,
3,
4,
5.
Breathing out for 1,
2,
3,
4,
5.
Inhaling,
2,
3,
4,
5.
Exhaling,
2,
3,
4,
5.
Breathing in,
2,
3,
4,
5.
Breathing out,
2,
3,
4,
5.
Keep going as we come deeper into the present moment.
Keep breathing in and breathing out.
As we start to settle into a relaxed state of coherence.
Sensing the rhythm of your heart and beginning to feel grateful for each and every breath.
Feeling the sincerity of these words as if they were your own and allowing them to flow freely throughout your entire body,
Mind,
Heart and soul.
