In this practice, we will be doing a fully guided 4x8 Tire Breathing technique. Inhaling to the count of 4, and exhaling to the count of 8 through our teeth so it sounds like the slow release of air from a tire. By exhaling twice the length of the inhale we are cultivating a deeper sense of relaxation in both the body and the mind. When you slow down your breath in this way you are calming the nervous system, relieving stress, overwhelm, and physical tension.
