Hello my friends.
And welcome to this meditation.
Once you find a comfortable position.
I invite you to close your eyes or softly lower your gaze We'll begin our time together with a deep,
Intentional breath in.
Filling your lungs as much as you possibly can.
And a large,
Intentional exhale.
Feeling your stomach contract,
Pushing the air out of your lungs Another deep breath in.
And out.
Take a moment to notice how you're feeling.
What emotions are you bringing into this space?
Do you feel an abundance of energy circling around a specific part of your body?
I invite you.
To mentally release.
Those emotions.
And invite that energy to float away to leave you for a moment.
That you can ground yourself in this space.
Deep breath in.
And exhale.
My friend,
It is so important.
That we take the time regularly come back to ourselves.
To give heavy thoughts,
Emotions and energy permission to take a break,
To leave our bodies so that we can spend time.
With our hearts.
With our dreams.
With who we are deep inside.
Deep breath in.
And release.
My friend,
What are you feeling in this moment?
And using this information of the emotion that you name.
You're welcome to put your hand on your heart.
Help that emotion sink deeper into you if it's one you'd like to keep.
And if it's one you'd like to release.
.
.
I invite you to physically.
.
.
Place your hands on your legs,
Palms up.
Envisioning those emotions.
Releasing through your palms into the atmosphere.
Feeling a lightness come over you.
Deep breath in.
And exhale.
There is a beautiful quote by Gabriella Green that says,
It's not selfish to slow down and reconnect with your inner world You're allowed to pause,
To breathe,
To step away from noise so you can hear your own voice again Today,
I return to myself.
To the quiet wisdom in my body.
To the softness that doesn't need to prove anything.
The truth that I don't have to carry it all alone.
If something or someone pulls me away from my center,
I lovingly step back What matters most now is coming home to myself again and again.
With compassion.
Deep breath in.
And release.
When you imagine coming home to yourself.
What does that look like?
Is there something that you could begin doing every day?
To invite yourself back home.
Deep breath in.
And release.
My friend,
As we begin to re-enter into our day I encourage you.
To have an open invite to yourself.
To return home daily.
As often as you need.
Whenever you feel disconnected.
Or like you're struggling to hear your inner voice Let's start by taking a few deep breaths.
Unlock the door and go home Final breath in.
And release.
Begin noticing the sounds in the room around you.
Slowly begin awakening your fingers and your toes.
Maybe rock your head side to side.
And when you're ready.
Slowly open your eyes.
I see you.
I love you.
Until next time.
