Take a moment to arrive here right where you are. Close your eyes and place one or both hands on your heart. Feel it beating, This incredible heart of yours that feels so deeply, That aches for strangers, That breaks open at the suffering of people it has never even met. That is not weakness, That is your greatest strength. As you inhale, Fill your heart completely with love, Warm, Golden, And infinite. If it helps, Think of something or somebody you do love, Nature, A loved one, Even a favorite food or hobby. Let it build with every breath until you can feel it radiating from the center of your chest. And as you exhale, Send that love outward. Don't worry about whether it reaches anyone, It does. Love is the only force that travels without limits, Without borders, Without Send it to the frightened, Send it to the grieving, Send it to the children, Send it to those who have lost everything, Those who are trying to help them. One more inhale, Filling yourself back up completely. You cannot run out of this love, It is infinite and it is yours.
