Welcome to this guided meditation that is here to connect you and to assist you to cultivate a relationship with your ancestors.
Before we get started,
I just want to let you know that the easiest way to cultivate a relationship with your ancestors is to build a bridge between your world and theirs.
When you build a bridge to your ancestors,
You are opening up a connection between you and your bloodline and you are giving your ancestors full spectrum access to you so that they can advise you with all the details and aspects of your life in mind.
Having a bridge that connects you with your ancestors allows them to send you healing energies,
Words of wisdom,
Synchronicity,
And what have you.
Basically,
This ancestral bridge I'm going to guide you to create is here to build this strong relationship and to call in your beautiful team of guides to walk beside you all the time and support you on your journey.
So I want you to find a comfortable position.
You can either be seated or even be laying down,
But I would say for this meditation in particular,
It is better that you are seated because we really want to get you to a point where you strongly feel their presence.
And if you're seated,
It will be easier because they may give you a sensation where they are moving your body,
Rocking it back and forth or side to side.
So go ahead and get into a seated position.
If you have an ancestral altar,
Do this meditation beside it.
And if you don't have an ancestral altar,
That is totally fine.
Your ancestors can hear you wherever you are.
So now I want you to start by grounding yourself by taking a deep breath in through your nose and gently exhaling.
Go ahead and take another breath in.
And exhale.
Now visualize the roots of a tree growing from the base of your spine,
From the soles of your feet into the ground below you.
These trees are growing deeper and deeper into the earth where they are deeply rooting and grounding you into this planet.
This planet.
Now visualize a golden light emanating from your heart and extending out beyond your body and beyond this realm and into the spirit world.
As you run that energy from your heart and into the spirit world,
I want you to say out loud,
Ancestors,
I'm opening up this bridge as a sacred portal between us.
I welcome your wisdom,
Your guidance,
Your love,
As well as any requests you have of me.
I honor our connection and I'm so excited to share this journey with you.
And go ahead and take a deep breath in.
And exhale.
Now that you've created your ancestor bridge,
Here's how you're going to put it to use.
I want you to take another deep breath and say out loud,
Ancestors,
Send a sensation through my body so that I can feel it.
Now pay attention to any sensations in your body such as heat or chills,
Pressure,
Or itchiness.
And if you don't feel that sensation yet,
Don't worry.
You're going to come back to this meditation and keep practicing until you fully start to feel that sensation.
Keep observing.
Now when you feel it,
Say out loud,
Ancestors,
I feel whatever sensation you feel.
Increase my receptivity even more.
Whatever sensation you feel,
Increase my receptivity even more.
Again,
Notice what you feel.
Then say,
Ancestors,
I feel,
Again,
Whatever sensation you feel in whichever part of your body.
And also say,
Increase my receptivity even more.
Now keep practicing this technique by asking your ancestors for sign.
You can ask them to bring a color into your mind that you can see or to bring a word into your thoughts that you can hear or you can read.
Tell your ancestors out loud what you're perceiving and then ask them to increase your receptivity even more.
This meditation teaches you how to be present with your ancestors.
The more you listen to this and practice this,
The stronger your connection with your ancestors will be,
And the more access you will have to them.
And when you're ready,
You can thank them for being here,
For being with you.
Or you can just continue sitting in silence until you feel called to come out of this space.
Go about your day,
Go about your evening or your night.
