Welcome to your Full Moon and Pisces Lunar Eclipse meditation practice.

The invitation is to find a quiet and safe space for you to completely relax.

Take your time arriving there whether it's laying down completely or sitting in a very comfortable position.

As you arrive,

Gently close the eyes or lower your gaze and become aware of your breath.

Noticing the temperature of your breath as it enters and exits your nostrils.

Maybe you notice the rising and the falling of your belly.

We're just trying to create some space from the day that you've had and allow the breath to bring you back into this present moment.

As you become a little more grounded,

Gently relax your eyebrows.

Bring your shoulders away from your ears.

Maybe you even let your belly be soft.

And you continue with this breath,

This nourishing breath.

And as you feel a little more grounded,

A little more anchored into the practice,

You see a path in front of you and you get curious.

So you begin to walk this path and there's no fear,

Just curiosity.

And as you continue to walk this path,

You see a door at the end.

And with that curiosity streak,

You continue to the door and you open it.

You take a step and as you step down,

You notice that you stepped into something soft like sand.

And it's dark,

But not a scary kind of dark,

A soothing kind of darkness.

And you make that other step into the sand and you continue to walk,

Noticing the temperature.

And you can hear ocean waves in the background.

And you breathe,

You take some deep inhales and exhales as you walk closer to where the waves meet the sand.

And as you stand there,

You notice how dark it is and you can see every single star,

You can see the planets.

And then you notice the moon.

She's bright,

She's yellow.

And you begin to remember that this is the Pisces full moon,

A time of release,

Surrender.

And as you acknowledge that,

You also notice that the waves are covering your feet and your ankles and it just feels soothing.

It feels relaxing.

It feels as if you can release some things that have kept you stagnant or stuck.

And that's exactly what you decide to do.

You sit down in the sand and now the water washes over your feet and your ankles and maybe a little bit of your upper thigh and your hips.

And maybe you throw your head back and you're ready to let go under this full moon.

And so you think to yourself,

What's time to be released?

What needs to be let go?

There's no judgment as things start popping into the mind's eye.

It just is.

And you think to yourself,

You know,

As this wave washes upon me,

I will let that thing leave as the wave surrenders.

So the wave washes over your feet and your ankles and you bring that thing you're ready to let go.

And then as the waves recede,

You send it off,

Allowing the ocean,

The universe,

The moon,

To hold it.

And you do this a few times or several times,

Maybe with different things or the same thing.

Feeling the water wash over you,

Bringing that thing to mind,

And then releasing it back as the waves recede.

And we'll be here for a few quiet moments.

Just releasing,

Letting go,

Surrendering.

And you bring that last thing,

Person,

Place,

Situation to mind that you're ready to let go and release as the wave covers your feet,

Your ankles,

Your hips.

And then you big sigh,

Let it go as the waves wash away.

And you send gratitude to the moon,

To the earth,

To the waves,

To the ocean,

To yourself.

For allowing you to release those things that have kept you stagnant.

And for the courage to release those things that no longer serve you.

And then you gently begin to stand up,

Knowing it's time to go back.

You gently take a deep breath,

And a big sigh out.

You turn around and you see that door.

You walk towards the door,

You open it.

You step through and you see the same path that got you there.

You begin to walk that path and it brings you back to the space you are right now.

You begin to take a few breaths,

Bringing your awareness back into this present moment.

You send yourself some gratitude for having the courage to release these things and to move forward on your path.

Gently bring movement back to your body any way that you like.

And gently blink open the eyes.

Thank you and happy new year.

Pisces full moon.
