An Artist’s Prayer

This is an offering to anyone’s inner artist. If you are an artist and in need of a simple prayer of thanks for your art and an affirmation of where this gift originates, this is for you. I also believe that we are all inherent works of art and artists at our core so this track is for everyone.

Hello, Beautiful. This is Tana Faye Wallace, And I'm a Reiki master teacher, Author, Educator, And counselor. I'm sharing a prayer with you today. This prayer is a part of the Artist's Way journey that I'm on right now. The Artist Ways is a 12-week program where artists endeavor to give back to themselves and remove any blocks to their connection to the creator so that they are able to flow in their work. This prayer was a part of our morning pages and it was so grounding. I wanted to share it with you all. Just in case anyone else is out there looking for a way to reconnect. Let us begin. Mother, Father, God, I come to you today to say thank you. Thank you for sharing your creative spark with me. I ask. That you allow me to continue to be of service to you in its use. I offer myself as your instrument of change in other lives. I open myself up to embody and utilize your creativity in my life. I invite you into my ideas and thoughts, But they may be bolder, More impactful, More beautiful, And my words like rain to the thirsty and a bomb to those in pain. I trust you to lead and guide me through my inner man. I will follow you. I ask that you remind me that it is safe to follow you and that you have a plan for my life that is to prosper me and see me do good works. Remind me that I am not nor do I need to be perfect. To be used by you. Just willing. And that I am perfect as I am to do what you require me to do. Help me to remember that healing and wholeness are mine through my own and other artists' creativity. Help me to affirm other artists and allow myself to be affirmed. To nurture other artists and to accept nurturing, And remind us all that we are loved and lovable despite not being perfect. Let me create as an act of worship. Amen, Ashe, Amin. And it is so. It is my hope that you listen to this prayer daily and whenever you need the feeling or you need to be reconnected with your inner artist. Thank you for listening. Be Blessed.
