Welcome to your blissful morning meditation.
We will jump straight into a
meditation which will take around eight to ten minutes.
So it's perfect for you
to listen to it in the morning after you're opening your eyes.
Begin by
finding a comfortable seated position either on the floor or on a chair.
Just
make sure your spine is upright and your hands are resting gently on your
knees or in your lap.
Palms are facing upwards towards the sky.
Close your eyes
softly and give yourself a beautiful smile.
The first smile of this day.
Just
relax your face.
Take a deep breath in through your nose,
Feeling your lungs
fill with fresh energizing air.
Hold it for a moment and then exhale slowly
through your mouth,
Releasing any tension or stress you may be holding on to.
Repeat this two more times.
Inhaling through the nose,
Exhaling through the
mouth,
Letting go.
In through the nose,
Feeling the lungs,
The ribs,
The chest,
Exhaling through the mouth,
Letting go,
Releasing tension.
Now bring your
awareness to your body and restart with your feet.
Notice any sensations you feel
there.
Perhaps warmth,
Tingling or a feeling of the ground beneath you.
Allow yourself to relax into this moment,
To release any tension,
To relax
all your muscles.
Now shift your attention a little bit further up to
your legs and hips.
Feel the weight of your body,
Supported by the earth below you.
With each breath,
Imagine any tension in this area slowly,
Softly melting away,
Leaving you feeling grounded and secure.
Move your awareness up to your torso and chest.
Notice the gentle rise and fall of
your breath as you continue to inhale and exhale deeply.
Let go of any tightness
or constriction in this area,
Allowing your breath to flow freely and effortlessly.
Now bring your attention to your arms and hands.
Feel the gentle sensation of
your breath moving through your whole body,
Nourishing every cell as it
travels.
If your mind starts to wander,
Gently get it back to the sensation of
your breath.
Finally,
Bring your awareness to your head and neck,
An area we love to hold
tension.
Relax the muscles in your face,
Releasing any of this tension in your
jaw,
Your forehead and on your temples.
Allow a soft smile to form on your lips
as you continue to breathe deeply and calmly.
I invite you to repeat some affirmations after me,
Only if you wish,
Or just stay
here and enjoy the vibration of these meaningful words.
With each breath I fill myself with energy and vitality,
Ready to embrace the
new day with enthusiasm and purpose.
I trust in my abilities and know that I'm capable of overcoming any
challenges that come my way.
I am surrounded by love,
Abundance and endless
opportunities for growth and joy.
With each affirmation visualize yourself embodying these qualities,
Feeling them
resonate deeply within you.
Allow these positive thoughts to uplift and empower
you as you move through your morning and the rest of your day.
Continue to breathe and silently repeat these affirmations for a few moments.
Let
them sink in deeply into every cell of your body.
With every inhale they sink
deeper and deeper and with every exhale we let go of any tension around these
affirmations we might be holding,
Soaking in their positive energy and
strength.
And I invite you to keep your eyes closed,
Bring your hands to your
heart center,
Into prayer position and repeat after me,
Only if you wish,
I am
love,
I am light,
I am me.
When you're ready,
Gently open your eyes and carry this sense of empowerment with
you into the day ahead.
