Hello everyone! In this short video, I thought I'd share why I love sound frequencies so much. It gives a little insight into the mechanics of how frequencies work, how to start listening to them, and how to know when you've had enough—or even too much. Hello again.

I'm Sue and welcome to Holistically You.

Today I thought I would just do a simple video about sound frequencies.

I love sound frequencies.

I really love them.

This is a very easy thing for me to talk about,

Although I do have some notes.

But sound frequencies,

They're like drinking water.

It's so simple,

You know.

You don't have to do anything.

You can be on a run or on a walk and you can have a drink of water.

You can be on a run or a walk and you can have frequencies playing in your ear.

You can also have them playing whilst you vacuum the house,

Mop the floors,

Wash the dishes,

Sleep,

Do your work,

Play a game.

You can have them through headphones.

You can have them in your AirPods.

You can have them just playing on a speaker.

You can have it playing through your phone as you sleep next to the bed.

I love frequencies because all you have to do is listen to them.

It's a no-brainer.

It truly is a no-brainer.

And it gets past that problem of not having time,

You know.

That you've got to make time for healing.

You've got to make time for this or that or whatever else.

You don't.

Because this,

You can just do as you are doing other things.

You don't need to focus on it.

They don't require your focus.

In fact,

It's probably better if you don't focus on them.

You just hear them.

That's it.

Frequencies work on frequency following response,

FFR.

So you know when you go,

Say,

To a party or you go somewhere where there's loud music or you turn on your own loud music and suddenly you start dancing and your foot's tapping and your head's bobbing away and you might click your fingers.

All of these things that happen,

That is frequency following response.

So your body just does it.

It's not like you go,

Oh now I'm gonna dance and you start to dance,

You know.

You just do it.

So the same thing happens with frequency.

Your brain does this.

So there is the frequency there.

Say for delta waves,

Which are the ones that help you go to sleep and keep you in that deep healing,

Restorative sleep.

Delta wave frequency is about two beats per second.

So your brain hears this slow two beats per second and your brain slows down to two beats per second.

That is called brainwave entrainment.

That's what it means.

That it's like your foot tapping to music.

Your brain slows to that beat.

Now delta wave is the optimum sleep frequency and if you can stay in delta wave then you get really good restorative sleep.

It helps you to,

The body does its deep cycle maintenance while you're in that state.

You know when you wake up sometimes and you're really groggy and you can't get up easily,

You're still in that frequency and you've not had enough sleep.

So that's why that happens.

So the great thing about frequency is that you just need to decide which frequency you want to get and press play.

It's really that simple.

I find what's great for me is just listening to the music.

I love it.

I absolutely love it.

I have a couple of favorites here.

The Schumann Resonance is one of my favorites.

So often I'll come out in the morning and I will grab my coffee and I will go to the computer and I'll just start to wake up and I put on those frequencies.

I love my music through headphones always.

I find that much more immersive than without headphones.

So I do that and I just play solitaire on the computer.

My intuition,

My creativity,

Etc kicks in.

I love it.

It's a really good thing for me to do and I like to do that every morning.

The other thing is that I generally have someone who I've been thinking of that is in a hard time.

So what I do is I sometimes I choose a frequency that that person would need and I listen to it whilst I'm thinking of them and sending them love.

So I actually send love with that frequency through my heart to them and that's a really great way of just sending them some energetic healing.

I really like doing that and it helps them.

They're not conscious of it but it helps them anyway.

I will be putting out more videos on how frequencies work,

How the different ways of getting a frequency,

Whether it's binaural beats or isochronic tones,

Monaural beats,

How all of that affects things or changes things,

How they're made.

For those people who like the science behind things and the facts,

I think frequencies are the most simple way to get your healing and you will find that over time you'll change because what frequency does is just the vibration that you operate at.

So with time you will start to vibrate.

It depends on whether you listen to a hundred different frequencies or whether you listen to one.

You know you might decide you need to say 528 hertz which is the miracle tone,

Self-hegeo tone for self-love etc.

You might decide that you're going to listen to that every day for a month.

If you're just starting out with frequencies,

I recommend that you stay with about maybe 15 minutes early in the day and another 15 minutes at the end of the day.

If you're just starting,

Take it easy,

Go slowly,

Not too much all at once and if you do get too much,

If you start to feel like you can't string a sentence together,

You can't think or if you're irritable,

Then drop back.

Give yourself a couple of days and then start off slowly again and build.

So I recommend that you do do that with one frequency.

Pick one and try it say for a week and see how you feel.

528 is a great one to start with because it works on everything and it goes perfectly with the idea of holistically you.
